'TRAIN TO BUSAN'
JOIN THE ZOMBIE RIDE!
We're continuing our international weekend by going Asian today, spylings! First, here's the trailer for South Korean ultra exciting mix of Snowpiercer meets Walking Dead TRAIN TO BUSAN
Shown at Cannes Film Festival and currently playing in domestic
cinemas, it
follows Sok-woo and his daughter Soo-ahn who are boarding the KTX, a
fast train that shall bring them from Seoul to Busan. But during their
journey, the train is overrun by zombies which kill several of the train
staff and other passengers. While the KTX is shooting towards Busan,
the passengers have to fight for their naked lives against the
zombies. The zombies in the trailer are scarier than the any ones we've
seen before!
'TIME RAIDERS'
FROM 'DRAGON BLADE' DIRECTOR
The second trailer is coming from China, directed by Dragon Blade's helmer Daniel Lee and starring Jing Boran and Luhan. Based on the popular online novel series Daomu Biji written by Xu Lei TIME RAIDERS should hit Chinese cinemas this August, next weekend to be more precise. It tells the fantastic story of explorers searching for the secrets of immortality in ancient tombs. Indian actress Mallika Sherawat is also starring and you can catch a glimpse of her gorgeous self in the trailer below!
Train to Busan does look good, I haven't seen a good zombie movie in a while!
ReplyDeletearen't those zombies scary? They're faster than any zombie we've seen
DeleteAs much as I love zombies (especially those quick ones!), I like the sound of Time Raiders best of all.
ReplyDeletethey're ever so quick, especially when flying over the ceiling of the train :o
DeleteI like a good zombie movie. There's always spine-chilling suspense.
ReplyDeleteHorror does not get better than that!
DeleteTrain to Busan looks scary. I really want to see it but at the same time I was among those Jamaicans too chicken to see The Conjuring 2 in theaters. They're just some movies we will not see in closed quarters. Sorry. I kept seeing posts with even Jamaican males refusing to see it. They usually watch anything.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah that escalator scene in the trailer though. Anyone near the bottom is dead. Sorry.
I never watch horrors unless they're set in some really cool isolated places, like winter fortresses, remote mountains or like this - a zombie infested train :) And poor soldiers, they all went Z!
DeleteWow, another zombie movie!! Sigh... Although, I must admit I'm anxiously waiting for the return of the walking dead...
ReplyDeleteI'm deliberating whether to finally stop watching TWD, they did ruin the show greatly and it seems to me this season will be vile and horrid and violent like the Governor one was... I just don't know. If they killed Rick they will mark themselves as the most disgusting show ever
DeleteI'm honestly terrified of zombies! I can't even watch The Walking Dead to be honest, so I think I'll pass these films haha
ReplyDeleteWe shall find something lighter for you tomorrow :)
DeleteNot really into zombies, so not for me!

sad to hear it, the other one does not have them, though
DeleteI can't seem to enjoy a zombie movie. Most are just a little too sickening for me.
ReplyDeletewhat I personally enjoy in them is the survival aspect, how people survive when faced with challenging situations
DeleteI was about to roll my eyes at yet another zombie film, but TRAIN TO BUSAN does look quite thrilling. Very edge of your seat viewing!
ReplyDeleteyes, when they infested that train compartment they won me over too
