The series in which Emily Osment plays a young cook who falls for her billionaire boss will kick off its final season with back-to-back episodes on Freeform. The final season sees Gabi and Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) happily together and in love, but now navigating their new status as a full fledged couple. Meanwhile, the rest of Josh’s staff, house keeper Yolanda (Kym Whitley) and his PR Elliot, are grappling with the change in work dynamic with Gabi as the “woman of the house.” Sofia (Aimee Carrero), Gabi’s best friend, who begins to feel like a third wheel with the new couple, sets out on her own path to find love.

Comedy news today, people, beginning with the new casting addition to FreeForm's popular sitcom YOUNG AND HUNGRY which has just added Jose Moreno Brooks, whom you've watched last year in Eva Longoria's Hot and Bothered sitcom and also in Baby Daddy, to the cast! Here he will play Juan Carlo, a Mexican street vendor and Casanova that Sofia (Aimee Carrero) falls for while on vacation. In the fifth season, Gabi and Josh try to prove to everyone that they won’t let feelings get in the way of their new friends with benefits arrangement, Sofia continues on the path to a career in journalism, and Josh faces an unexpected reunion with his estranged father.

 '9J, 9K AND 9L' CBS SITCOM

ELLIOTT GOULD AND LINDA LAVIN MOVE IN AS PARENTS
Talking about cast additions, two comedy veterans Elliott Gould and Linda Lavin will play the parents of  Mark Feuerstein and David Walton's characters in CBS new multi camera sitcom 9J, 9K AND 9L! The story is inspired by Feuerstein’s real life experience of living in apartment 9K in the building he grew up in, right between his parents’ apartment, 9J, and his brother, sister in law and their baby’s apartment, 9L, and his attempts to set boundaries with his intrusive but well meaning family. They will be Judy and Harry, parents of Josh (Mark Feuerstein) and Andrew (David Walton). Lavin’s Judy is stylish, social and obsessed with her sons. Her best day would be spent just staring at and smelling Josh. Harry knows no boundaries. A pillar of the community, he’s warm and loving and lives life to the fullest.

There's also the first teaser for Netflix' new comedy series DISJOINTED in which Kathy Bates is an owner of an Los Angeles cannabis dispensary who works with three charismatic “budtenders” (Dougie Baldwin, Elizabeth Ho, Elizabeth Alderfer), her entrepreneurial twenty something son (Aaron Moten) and a very troubled security guard (Tone Bell). 20 episodes are coming August 25th!

TYLER RITTER JOINS THE CAST

TV news today, starting with infos from the TV comedy world: FreeForm's YOUNG & HUNGRY sitcom, which has just been renewed for the 5th season will have THE MCCARTHYS star Tyler Ritter guest starring as Adam, a handsome and funny man who is nursing a broken heart after being left at the altar. He and Gabi (Emily Osment) bond over their similar relationship problems and the fact that they are both budding entrepreneurs.

STEPHEN FRY IN 'GREAT INDOORS'

Meanwhile, British legend Stephen Fry will star in NBC's new sitcom THE GREAT INDOORS in which  Joel McHale plays an adventure reporter who must adapt to the times when he becomes boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of their magazine. Fry will be the charismatic founder of  THE GREAT INDOORS magazine, and a world traveller, explorer and adventure! 

BBC ORDERS 'QUACKS' 

VICTORIAN COMEDY SERIES
Over in UK, BBC has ordered 6 half hour episode period series set in the 1840s titled QUACKS about four young pioneers in the daring and wild days of Victorian medicine!  The comedy takes place at a time when doctors were just as likely to kill their patients as cure them, when they experimented on themselves and each other. It was an era when the O.R. — or operating theatre in British parlance — was full of spectacle and showmanship (and screw-ups). Rory Kinnear will play one of those showmen, an arrogant surgeon; Mathew Baynton is a fledgling psychiatrist; Tom Basden a hedonistic dentist turned anaesthetist and Lydia Leonard a headstrong social campaigner. Rupert Everett will guest star.

'STILL STAR CROSSED'

ABC has cast Medalion Rahimi to play intelligent, outspoken and practical princess Isabella in their upcoming new STILL STAR CROSSED 16th century Verona set series that picks up where William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet left off charting the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate. She joins Torrance Coombs in the cast.

SOFIA PERNAS IN 'TRANSYLVANIA'

Over at CW, Sofia Pernas has joined their historical adventure series TRANSYLVANIA replacing Amrita Acharia as Coriander, an exotic gypsy queen of the matriarchal clan that runs the fleshpots of the Old City, the haunted spot where Vlad the Impaler once killed thousands of their tribe. Set in 1880 TRANSYLVANIA centres on Victoria (Laura Brent), a headstrong young woman in search of her missing father who ventures from NYC to Transylvania where she teams up with a wrongfully disgraced Scotland Yard Detective (Luke Allen-Gale), and together they witness the births of the most famous monsters and villains in history.

In today's casting news, one of our favourite television faces, British hunk  DanStevens (who is the Beast in Disney's upcoming BEAUTY AND THE BEAST movie) will star with Rebecca Hall in romantic movie PERMISSION as a couple who decide to sleep with other people for the sake of their relationship. Jason Sudeikis, Gina Gershon and Francois Arnaud are also in the cast.

Meanwhile, the team standing behind Spartan epic 300 lead by Gianni Nunnari (IMMORTALS) will make a futuristic ROBIN HOOD 2058 movie with the story set in a futuristic, dystopian version of London, following a rogue MI5 agent on a mission to avenge injustice.

'BABY DADDY' & 'YOUNG & HUNGRY' RETURN WITH THE NEW SEASONS

Are you ready for the return of our favourite TV sitcoms? ABC Family, which has been renamed into FreeForm this year, is opening their Wednesday evening comedy block again tomorrow with the return of their most beloved comedies BABY DADDY and YOUNG AND HUNGRY! Both sitcoms have ended their previous episodes with love cliffhangers! BABY DADDY is returning for its fifth season and the audience is awaiting to see if Danny (Derek Theler) will finally get Riley (Chelsea Kane) to whom he proposed crashing his mother Bonnie's (Melissa Peterman) wedding. But it turns out she fainted and doesn't remember the proposal! Meanwhile, his brother and Riley's previous fling Ben (Jean Luc Bilodeau) is getting a new love interest in new neighbour to be played by Jonna Walsh!

It seems that Mr. Grey will see us even when the horrid fifty shades of grey start to fade: according to 'Screen Daily' one of our favourite Irish hunks Jamie Dornan will take the lead role in ANTHROPOID WW2 drama together with another fave Irishman of ours Cillian Murphy! The Sean Ellis directed movie will be about the attempted assassination of prominent Nazi official Reinhard Heydrich. ANTHROPOID refers to the code-name for the Allied operation to assassinate Heydrich, the head of the SS who was one of the main architects of the Holocaust and was widely considered number three in the Nazi ranks behind Hitler and Himmler. Operation ANTHROPOID was led by two soldiers from Czechoslovakia’s army-in-exile who were parachuted into their homeland to carry out the mission against the Nazi nicknamed “The Butcher of Prague”.

'BABY DADDY' GETS 5TH SEASON
Two good news coming from ABC Family. They have just renewed their leading sitcom BABY DADDY for the 5th season! The current 4th season, similarly to all previous ones, has been number one comedy series on Wednesday nights in America. As you know, Jean-Luc Bilodeau stars as a young man who suddenly becomes a single father and has to raise his baby daughter with the help of his brother, (Derek Theler), his roomate (Tahj Mowry), his hilarious mother (Melissa Peterman) and his best friend and girlfriend (Chelsea Kane).
'YOUNG & HUNGRY' RETURNS THIS MONTH
Another of ABC Family's hit series, comedy YOUNG & HUNGRY is returning for its second season March 25th after becoming hugely popular among the crowds last summer. Emily Osment stars as a young cook who starts working as the private chef of a young millionaire (Jonathan Sadowski) with whom she accidentally ends up in bed the very first day.  Second season picks up with Gabi surprised by the return of ex-boyfriend Cooper (guest star Jesse McCartney), just as her boss has called off his wedding due to his feelings for her.
