Popular sitcom returns tonight at CBS

Returning with the second season tonight over at CBS is GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE multi camera sitcom with Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. Season two picks up after the season 1 finale, which found Mandy keeping the truth about working with an ex-boyfriend from Georgie. When he learns the truth, he's moved to buy her father Jim's (Will Sasso) auto shop and go into business with Ruben (Jessie Prez). It's all leading up to a hilarious season with some big changes in store. Rachel Bay Jones and Dougie Baldwin are back as Mandy's mother and brother Audrey and Connor. The episodes will also stream on Paramount Plus.

CBS has unveiled Fall schedule and with it first teasers for new multicamera sitcoms. Young Sheldon spin off GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE will air from Fall on Thursday evenings. Coming from Chuck Lorre it follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage.

Allen will play Matt, described as a stubborn widower who owns a classic car shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration will begin though. Meanwhile, CBS has ordered a multicam pilot for Chuck Lorre's Young Sheldon spin off following Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage. Rival NBC has ordered SOMETHING WICKED mutlicam sitcom pilot with June Diane Raphael as lead. It is described as a comedy with a Bewitched-type premise and an homage to TV sitcom classics. It examines the condition of modern adult womanhood and how even with witchcraft, balancing everything is impossible.

GHOSTS sees Utkarsh Ambudkar and Rose McIver playing ayoung couple, whose dreams come true when they inherit a beautiful country house, only to find it's both falling apart and inhabited by many of the deceased previous residents. It is a remake of the British comedy of the same name. But do not fool yourself, it looks to be missing any of the quality the original has.

Isn't that the cutest news of the week? Emily Osment will return to the world of sitcoms after Young and Hungry in an currently untitled new multi camera sitcom which just got a ten episode order over at Netflix and Gregg Sulkin will take the male lead. This is not the first time two of them are working together. With Jack Dolgen and Doug Mand as the show creators, the new comedy revolves around a snooty, self proclaimed intellectual (Osment) forced to move in with her carefree sister and her sister’s lovably eccentric friends, one of them played by Gregg Sulkin. 

 

Emily Osment’s character in the new comedy series at Netflix, Chelsea, is an Ivy league educated intellectual who is book smart and quick witted but lacks the real world skills she needs to have a functional life. She finds herself living in LA without any options other than her bubbly sister, Claire, and Claire’s roommates.

 

Meanwhile, Gregg Sulkin’s character in the new series, Grant, is romantic, genuinely sweet, and an often shirtless personal trainer. He has a childlike

TO LEAD NBC'S LA BREA SERIES

NBC is moving on with the producton on the pilot for their catastrophe series  LA BREA but they've replaced the male lead (and a few other roles)

Eoin Macken will play the father of the family

and put our fave hunkster Eoin Macken opposite Natalie Zea. Jack Martin, Jon Seda, Veronica St. Clair, Chiké Okonkwo and Lily Santiago will also star together with Zyra Gorecki.

When a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, it tears a family in half, separating mother (Zea) and son (Martin) from father (Macken) and daughter (Gorecki). ABC Family, which has been renamed into FreeForm this year, is opening their Wednesday evening comedy block again tomorrow with the return of their most beloved comedies BABY DADDY and YOUNG AND HUNGRY! Both sitcoms have ended their previous episodes with love cliffhangers! BABY DADDY is returning for its fifth season and the audience is awaiting to see if Danny (Derek Theler) will finally get Riley (Chelsea Kane) to whom he proposed crashing his mother Bonnie's (Melissa Peterman) wedding.
