When Mack discovers Rob’s been seeing a sex worker, she’s surprisingly not angry but inspired. After all, sex work is legal in New Zealand, and her marriage has lacked intimacy for years. Always a renegade and a bit of an entrepreneur, Mack learns the only brothel in town is run by a douchebag. With no money and no experience, she decides to open her own ‘feminist, ethical brothel. Mack forges Rob’s signature on a home loan, leases a motel, and recruits an eclectic swagger of mostly rookie sex workers.

Matters are further complicated when the king’s illegitimate daughter discovers the mythological creature. Scodelario and Benjamin Walker met at the shooting of this movie and later on got married. Chinese star Fan Bingbing plays the mermaid.

We've been announcing this one since 2015 but it lost the support of two studios in the meantime and now Arclight will offer THE KING'S DAUGHTER (aka The Moon and The Sun) for international sales at Cannes virtual market this month. There's just one thing I have for you today and it is the first poster for THE KING'S DAUGHTER (previously known as The Moon and The Sun), fantasy adventure movie which still does not have a release date nor a trailer, but it has a stellar cast including Pierce Brosnan as King Louis XIV, Benjamin Walker, William Hurt, Ben Lloyd Hughes, Kaya Scodelario, Rachel Griffiths and Fan Bingbing.

THE KING'S DAUGHTER, in which a massive ball scene was shot in Versailles' Hall of Mirrors (it was done at night when tourists aren't there), depicts King Louis XIV's quest for immortality that leads him to capture and steal a mermaid's life force,

 If you're more in a mood for sf laughs than sf action, there will be eruption of those in the insane IRON SKY 2 a delightfully bizarre sequel to the 2012 unexpected mega hit from Finland which had Nazis hiding in space. As the highlight of our British TV week, in which I presented you with a number of brilliant trailers for upcoming new English dramas, today you can enjoy our premium spotlight on the second season of period set series INDIAN SUMMERS which will air on Channel 4 from March 13th and later this year at PBS in USA too! Channel 4's most watched series in ten years, which is planned for a five season run, charts two families living in Simla during the last days of the British Raj, a period when tensions are running high as the nation strives for independence from their colonial rulers. Series two will again consist of 10 episodes set in the summer of 1935, several years after the events of the first series, as the Indian nationalist movement gains traction.

Here's a new science fiction movie for us and coming with a rather hunky cast indeed: as 'Deadline' reports Kellan Lutz, Daniel MacPherson and Rachell Griffiths will lead Australian sf action movie SFv1! The movie, which has already started shooting, is set in the far future in an era of interplanetary colonization, with the story following a drifter who teams up with a military contractor to rescue the contractor’s daughter. Amid an impending global crisis caused by the contractor’s company, the trio must escape to safety! Bren Foster and Temuera Morrison are also starring.

As  I reported over the last year, we will be watching Australian hunk Daniel MacPherson as Elven prince Arion next year in SHANNARA epic series at MTV, while Kellan Lutz is to star in EXTRACTION action flick next year in which he will be the son of Bruce Willis who tries to save his father from terrorists.

Today you can check out the first trailer for the film in which Crowe plays a Pulitzer-winning writer who grapples with being a widower and father after a mental breakdown, while, 27 years later, his grown daughter struggles to forge connections of her own. The movie should arrive to theatres some time this Autumn or early winter.
