BritBox' upcoming new original series based on the works of Agatha Christie TOMMY AND TUPPENCE with Imelda Staunton, Antonia Thomas and Josh Dylan who play Tommy and Tuppence a detective duo for the ages, has started production and we have the first photo. They fall in love, fall out of it, and tumble back in, all while solving some thrilling, entertaining mysteries along the way. Tuppence is an actress and force of nature who won’t take no for an answer. Tommy is a meticulous, charming crime writer who has lost his passion but finds it again when whirlwind Tuppence re-enters his life. DISNEY PLUS NEW SERIES SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES

As Deadline reports, our dearest Russell Tovey has joined the cast of Disney Plus new true story series SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES which describes the tragic shooting of an innocent man mistaken for a terrorist in London bombings twenty years ago. Edison Alcaide will play De Menezes whose death happened around two weeks after 7/7 following a second set of planned attacks, which failed but set off a manhunt. The Brazilian electrician was mistakenly shot by police at a London underground station, leading to protests, introspection over shoot-to-kill policies and fierce criticism of the Metropolitan Police. Russell Tovey will also star alongside Conleth Hill, Max Beesley, Emily Mortimer, Daniel Mays, Laura Aikman and Alex Jennings. Mortimer and Hill will play police chiefs.

ITV has sent us a trailer for their new mini TV series MR BATES VS THE POST OFFICE based on a true story which should arrive to the small screens January 1st to 4th. The series, which stars Toby Jones, Will Mellor,  Adam James and Alex Jennings, tells the story of how hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft and false accounting due to a defective IT system. Over the four episodes, the  show will track how many of the wronged postal workers were prosecuted and some were imprisoned, while also dramatising the landmark Court of Appeal decision which saw their criminal convictions overturned, and the continuing fight for justice.

Straight from Cannes we have the first image of Benoit Magimel and Nadia Tereskiewitz in ROSALIE movie. Rosalie is a young woman in the France of 1870 but she is not a young woman like the others, she hides a secret: since her birth, her face and her body have been covered with hair.
