BritBox' upcoming new original series based on the works of Agatha Christie TOMMY AND TUPPENCE with Imelda Staunton, Antonia Thomas and Josh Dylan who play Tommy and Tuppence a detective duo for the ages, has started production and we have the first photo. They fall in love, fall out of it, and tumble back in, all while solving some thrilling, entertaining mysteries along the way. Tuppence is an actress and force of nature who won’t take no for an answer. Tommy is a meticulous, charming crime writer who has lost his passion but finds it again when whirlwind Tuppence re-enters his life. Staunton is Aunt Ada, a wry, retired private detective who loves her nephew, Tommy, because he never undermines her – only a fool would do so. Callie Cooke will star as Detective Sergeant Draper; Nicholas Richardson as film producer Julius; Charlie Condou as pub landlady Albert; and Chizzy Akudolu as Detective Inspector Merriot. As ScreenDaily reports, Alex Marx has finished shooting his Isabella Blow biopic THE QUEEN OF FASHION with Andrea Riseborough in the lead role in the film about the extraordinary life of London-born Blow, known as a visionary fashion editor, muse, and unstoppable force who shaped the fashion industry, surrounded by a constellation of era-defining artists, designers and creatives. Dane DeHaan stars as Blow’s husband, Joe Cole as designer Alexander Lee McQueen. Michelle Dockery is British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, Emily Beecham is Isabella’s best friend Lucy Birley. Stacy Martin is designer Daphne Guinness, and Ncuti Gatwa fashion designer at Tatler magazine, Michael Roberts. Miranda Richardson and Richard E Grant play Blow’s parents, while Fionn O’Shea and Sebastian De Souza play couture hat designer Philip Treacy and his partner. Vincent Perez also stars.

The main star of the second season, which starts shooting next month, will, however, be Daniel Sharman as his brother Lorenzo the Magnificent, the grandson of Madden's Cosimo Medici who was the star of the first season.
