I will be honest with you, people, and tell you the truth: this December will not have any big new series premieres, so as usual we will have to pass our time with the international offer and arriving
to Netflix December 12th is Nordic disaster series LA PALMA starring Anders Baasmo, Ingrid Bolsø Berdam, Thorbjørn Harr, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Jorge de Juan and others.

FOUR PART SERIES
is
a disaster thriller that follows a Norwegian family that travels to the
island of La Palma, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, for their Christmas
holiday. But beneath the idyllic environment, a danger lurks. A young
Norwegian scientist discovers alarming signs about the volcano located
in the center of the holiday paradise, and she must convince her
colleagues that the worst-case scenario is about to happen. Caught in a
massive volcanic eruption where they face toxic ash, lava, and chaos,
the tourists must fight for survival as they race to safety.
The last eruption of that Canarian volcano, Cumbre Vieja, in 2021 terrified me since for over a decade, Discovery and History Channel dicumentaries had forseen that such eruption would provoke a tsunami that would reach New York. Thank Heavens, it did not happen.
ReplyDeleteTime to invest in a boat, LOL I really would never live anywhere near the coast.
DeleteI rather die drowning than burnt with one of Tsar Vlad's bombs. Mos tsunami victims don't die because of water, but hit over the head by some large debris. You mentioned something about Mexico's earthquake Do you mean "Every minute counts"? It's in Amazon already, I'm watching it.
DeleteYou are safe from Vlad now that Trumpie is coming. Trumpie will bring world peace again, unless Fascists Kamala and Biden urge naciZelenski to do something nasty before that, but even he is not stupid enough.
DeleteYes the one I had a post recently from Prime.
I like the natural disaster movie or show. I would watch this.
ReplyDeleteI like them too and watch them all, we have this one and the one on the quake in Mexico in December.
DeleteUnlike Mary, I do not like these movies. They stress me the hell out. I believe natural disasters bring out the worst of the worst in people, on top of impending doom from Mother Nature herself, no thanks. Give me some Hallmark holiday instead LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is true that they bring out the worst in people.
DeleteNo worries, I am not sad that there ain't big new series premieres in Dec. Too many films and series, too little time...the storyline of this disaster film sounds really familiar...nothing really new.
ReplyDeleteIt is similar to that film with Ewan and Naomi Watts, but that was cunami not a volcano.
