I do not celebrate it myself, but happy Advent to you if you do, I have not even decorated the palace yet LOL and probably will not much. I am waiting for new bookshelves to arrive next week and might put a few Santas around after that if I am in a mood, but probably will not be, December is passing too quickly in my opinion.
DeleteI agree, Dezzy. I didn't decorate this year either. It's definitely going by way too fast this year. It's the first since we've lived here that I just didn't have the energy. Wasn't going to do Halloween either, but Jason and Allison pulled the decorations from the attic and did most putting those up before I could stop them. After I packed those away, Jason asked if I wanted him to pull down the Christmas and I said hell no. I wasn't spending a day to put it all up just to take it all down again in a few weeks. I bought my 3 foot blue spruce tree, slapped a santa hat on a toy dinosaur for the tree topper, then called that done as far as decorations this year. I feel like spring is going to be here in the blink of an eye with how fast the days are going by lately.

DeleteI'm still nervous about his 4 year term, but given there were no better options, it's a wait and see with me on what he's going to do this round. I am not thrilled about the tariffs because I will have to raise my prices as will many other small business owners who have to source their materials outside of the US, but we definitely did better under his leadership the first time he took office, I am going to be cautiously optimistic on the future of our business going forward.

DeleteI'd love to see Biden added to the list as well. I feel like he's determined to keep effing over the US citizens until he's out of the office. Pardoning his horrid son was the icing on the cake, but he keeps throwing money around to other countries while we are all struggling here at home. Let's send Africa a billion dollars! Ukraine, you want $800 million? Sure! You would think the killing of the insurance CEO would have been an eye opener to the government that we're all getting fed up not getting the basics in life. The money we so callously give away or spend on ignorant pet projects could fund universal health care, but no. They just keep taxing us to death and giving nothing back in return. We definitely need another Tea Party Revolution here.
