THE FALLOW FEW
SEE FIRST IMAGES FROM WW1 MOVIE
I have first images from a historical movie that is currently in post production for you today: THE FALLOW FEW which is both written and directed by JR Rappaport, who helms it as his directorial debut, starring our dearest Bradley James in a moving story set during the nightmares of the First World War. Tony Robinson, Louis Davison, Ashleigh Reynolds, Christopher Bonwell, Viktor Ilic also star in this moving war movie. We have not seen Bradley in anything since his short stint in Vikings: Valhalla series season two, so it will be nice to see him again at least on the big screen as he has nothing else set in his list of the upcoming roles.
WHAT IS THE STORY OF THE MOVIE?
Based on a harrowing true story the movie has the story set in the cold
days of December, 1916 over at the Western Front. A disillusioned
soldier, tasked with guarding British deserters on death row, disobeys
his superiors to save his latest charge's life at the eleventh hour.
A soldier disobeys his superiors...that sounds deadly wrong during war. Bradley James looks familiar, but I don't think I have ever watched anything from him.
ReplyDeleteHe played king Arthur in Merlin series and then also in Medici and Vikings shows. Beautiful chap.
DeleteThe first images from *The Fallow Few* look incredible! Bradley James in a WWI setting is such an exciting combination, and it seems like a deeply moving film. I can’t wait to see how this powerful story unfolds on screen. I just shared a blog post, let me know what you think!
ReplyDeleteGlad you think so, they are very atmospheric, methinks. Popping over to your place.
DeleteThat looks good, I would watch this. I like that it's based on a true story too.
ReplyDeleteShould be very moving.
DeleteOoh. I'm excited for this! I have to ready my heart.
ReplyDeleteIt will be tear-jerking.
DeleteThis is one that I'd definitely watch, though it does seem visually very dark. I tend to get irritated when I have to strain my eyes to see what's going on, so I hope it's not as dark as the images presented above once it rolls out on screen.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed it is not.
