CHRISTMAS GHOST STORY MOVIE WOMAN OF STONE FROM BBC CASTS CELIA IMRIE, EANNA HARDWICKE, MAWAAN RIZWAN, SEE THE FIRST IMAGE

    WOMAN OF STONE
SHORT ADS CELIA IMRIE, EANNA HARDWICKE
Although his previous attempts in Christmas shorts have been a failure both by the critics and the audience, Mark Gatiss is doing a WOMAN OF STONE short movie this year as well based on Edith Nesbit's story Man-size in Marble. The chilling tale follows newlywed Victorians Jack and Laura as they settle into a small cottage in a quiet village and soon find their idyll overshadowed by the superstitious warnings of their housekeeper. And the legend of the two marble tomb effigies who are said to rise each year… and walk. Jack dismisses this is as mere folklore. But as the fateful night draws near, he makes a terrifying discovery. And back at the cottage, Laura is all alone. Éanna Hardwicke, Celia Imrie, Monica Dolan, Mawaan Rizwan and Phoebe Horn star in the film that will air on BBC Two during Christmas.

  2. I want to move to a small village, creepy or not. Allison and I were watching Salem's Lot the other day and I told her I was moving to Maine, vampires be damned. I'll have to find the one Stephen King lives in so I can get the full creepy vibe that inspires his stories.

    1. Strange you did not find a house for you in Salem.

    2. I never looked. Jason would never move to the coast anyway. It gets too cold over there.

    4. It is. The Ho cus Pocus house is right on a shipping harbor. I was surprised to see an inlet with a bunch of boats on it next to the house. Not very witchy imo LOL!

    5. I'd imagine witches would be afraid of water...
