SEE AMERICA AFTER A NUCLEAR BOMB IN NEAL MCDONOUGH'S ACTION THRILLER THE HOMESTEAD MOVIE TRAILER

 HOMESTEAD TRAILER
WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE
Homestead is out this December
We have a trailer for a brand new apocalyptic movie HOMESTEAD directed  by Ben Smallbone and set to hit cinemas December 20th set during a rapid collapse of society within a rich man's mountain compound which struggles between the military compulsions of its veteran operators and the rural values of its member families. Neal McDonough leads the cast of the new movie from Angel Studios. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think, will you be watching in theatres this Christmas even though it obviously is not a very festive movie?

Neal McDonough takes the lead role
WHAT'S THE STORY?
A nuclear bomb is detonated in Los Angeles, and the nation devolves into unprecedented chaos. Ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson (Bailey Chasse) and his family escape to The Homestead, an eccentric prepper's (Neal McDonough) fortress nestled in the mountains. As violent threats and apocalyptic conditions creep toward their borders, the residents of The Homestead are left to wonder: how long can a group of people resist both the dangers of human nature and the bloodshed at their doorstep?

  1. Neal McDonough seems always having supporting roles in almost all his movies and series...is he now the lead role in this one?

    1. I think that he shares the lead with Bailey Chasse. He defo dominates the posters. I think he had a deal with Angel Studios that he will star in their films if they produce some of his projects and this is apparently the first one.

  2. I was just going to say the same thing Angie did about Neal McDonough. Always in a supporting role, which makes him one that people recognize his face but never remember what he's in. I'm glad he's got a bigger role this time. I do like him and like the stance he took about not kissing any costars to keep his lips reserved only for his wife. Far too often we see costars get wrapped up in the heat of a project and it tears families apart. Kudos to him for respecting his values.

    1. Oh, I forgot he said that. I imagine those are his wife's wishes, not his own LOL

    2. I think he's just super religious. You know how those types are. Our Mike Pence was the same way. He wouldn't even lunch alone with a female coworker. I find it odd how some people get so into their religion that they can't even have opposite sex friends. Jason spent New Year's Eve in Kentucky with one of our lady friends while Allison and I stayed home 2 years ago. They were both working an event that night and she called me after New Year and said he was the best date she ever had. I told her to take him any time LOL. I trust him. I trust her. So why should they both be stuck hours from home alone on New Year's Eve? Plus, she's like 70, so I guess that helped LMAO!

    3. I also have a friend, a colleague older than me, we worked together for a few years, she loved working with me and me as a friend, but would not go out with me for a coffee or come to a visit even if she is close by because her husband was super jealous.

    4. Jealous of what? Maybe you should have batted your eyes at the hubby. That would have been a hoot! Did he know his wife wasn't exactly your type?

    5. Of other men in general. We live in a patriarchal society, and here in my city, Hungarians have their own culture, when they were young and he had to go to serve the army, she had to live with his parents that year, and after when he came back they married. She could not stay with her family, because those are the rules, your in laws guard you and keep you chaste LOL Men and women do not visit each other as friends in such a culture, it is almost Victorian. He also did not like it when she comes out for a coffee with us four colleagues a few times a year because they have three kids and he thought her place is at home. They always argued when she would come out of the house a few time s a year to come to our birthday parties or whatever. Mucho weirdo, but they are all like that. Now we do not even see each other even though I know she adores me, she loved to unwind after work during our walks home in the evenings after we would close the school and say to me everything that burdened her during the day at work, with our boss etc, and then after that she would go home to her family unburdened and happy, because she aired all the daily toxin out during our walk and talk and could be happy for her family. Gossiping the boss with someone confidential is very healthy for mental state.

    6. Oh, I so agree! Everyone should have a friend to unload on at the end of the day so they can come home and already have left their burdens outside the door. It's a shame he didn't see that value of her having such a friend in you.
