JOHN FLANAGAN RANGER'S APPRENTICE EPIC NOVEL SERIES TO BECOME A POTENTIAL MOVIE FRANCHISE?

The latest epic novel series to be bought for a movie adaptation is RANGER'S APPRENTICE which includes The Ruins of Gorlan & The Burning Bridge
Ted Melfi is set to helm and produce
written by John Flanagan. Skydance and Ted Melfi are set to adapt into a potential franchise about an orphan named Will who becomes an apprentice to a group of mysterious protectors known as the Rangers. 
 
He becomes one of the skilled trackers, archers, and warriors in the service of the King of Araluen. Will strives to keep the Kingdom of Araluen safe from invaders, traitors, and other threats. He is joined on his adventures by his mentor, Halt, and his best friend Horace. As Deadline reports, beside the nineteen novels from this series, Skydance has also optioned the rights to adapt Flanagan’s The Brotherband Chronicles book series which consists of nine volumes.
