First look at Tom Sharp as Merlin |

also added a few extremely interesting behind the sets production clips from Daily Wire which gives us first glimpses of how extremely rich the whole production and the world building are. Super dashing Ryan Whitaker is helming the series.
THIS EPIC NEW SERIES WILL BE
a reimagining of the myth of King Arthur, set at the end of Roman Britain when pagan tribes warred with Saxon and Pict invaders, and with each other.
Sharp will play Merlin, the son of an Atlantean princess and the
bard,Taliesen,
who pursues his father’s vision of a ‘Kingdom of Summer’ - a Briton
unified in
peace. To achieve this dream, Merlin will have to
overcome ancient evils and navigate both the fall of the Roman
occupation and the rise of Christianity in search of a king who can
unite the Island of the Mighty.

I just can't with another Pendragon storyline. I'm sure many will watch this one though, but how many times can we polish up the same turd for the masses?
ReplyDeleteThis one seems like they will finally do a good job, at least visually, but the acting does scare me a bit, some of them seem atrocious without the post production polish. I imagine they will all speak with American accents.
DeleteIt is the absolute worst when they have American accents! The main voice in the trailer does not fit with this one.
DeleteThat trailer is fan made methinks, the upper two are from the production itself. The actors are gorgeous but they do all have square American jaws very unlike anything Arthurian LOL But I do like the visuals and have hots for the director who actually twitted us last week. Very lovely man.
DeleteHopefully it brings more than pretty faces to the table. I suppose even if it is bad, at least it has some eye candy to redeem it.
DeleteAnd stunning visuals according to the production videos above.
