Launching ITV's new streamer ITVX December 8th is brand new period set series A SPY AMONG FRIENDS and we have a trailer for it today! Based on the best-selling book by Ben Macintyre, the six-episode series dramatises the true story of Nicholas Elliott and Kim Philby (Guy Pearce and Damian Lewis), two British spies and lifelong friends. Philby was the most notorious British defector and Soviet double agent in history. This is a story of intimate duplicity; loyalty, trust and treachery. Philby’s deeply personal betrayal, uncovered at the height of the Cold War, resulted in the gutting of British and American Intelligence. The series will also air on MGM+ in USA (formerly known as Epix) as of March 12th, and possibly on Britbox! Check out the trailer below:

    I like Damian Lewis, though I have only watched a couple of series from him. He is charming. This one is for sure on my watch list.
