  2. This I would like to see. I don't remember many things on the news, especially in my younger years. I do very clearly remember this disaster.

    1. I do not remember much from it, but we do currently have massive fires around Europe.

  3. Such a devastating but preventable disaster. If only they would have stayed on top of inspecting the levy's this wouldn't have happened. I love NOLA and have often thought about putting it on the list of places I'd like to relocate in the future, but I do think about the hell the people went through back then, on top of their politics today, it's a pass for me. Though the people are really very lovely there.

    1. We also had those terrible floods some five or six years ago in Obrenovac when the whole town was flooded thanks to Danube rising and damns being opened and the mayor of the city, who was pretty much responsible for so many deaths then, has now become an advisor to the mayor of Belgrade. Crime pays off here.

    2. It's insane, isn't it? I don't think it's just there though. I mean, look at the Clinton's and Bush's and Biden's and all of the other criminals. Goes to show that crime pays everywhere, sadly.
