Ladies will rejoice as the first one to open the newly arrived spring season on the small screens is the second season of
SANDITON which is landing at
Britbox March 21st and as soon as tonight on
PBS Masterpiece for the viewers in USA. Based on
Jane Austen’s final and incomplete novel, written only months before her death in 1817 and set in a developing little seaside resort for rich snobs and those who want to become one, it
tells the
story of impulsive, brash and ungratefully superficial and impolite Charlotte
Heywood (
Rose Williams) and her quest to use rich people for her own gain. Immature, irresponsible and arrogant, she definitely remains one of

I haven't watched this one.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't missed much, other than an otherwordly scene of Theo James coming up wonderfully nekkid out of the sea, and tons of eyecandy in the form of Leo Sutter. They are both, though, gone now, sadly and unfortunately.
DeleteNot really a fan of Jane Austen, so I will have to pass this one. We have been watching The Undertaker (a Swiss TV series). It's quite interesting...so different from American crime series.
ReplyDeleteMost European series are better than the US ones LOL
DeleteGreat shots, though I haven't watched the first season.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't long, about eight episodes or so.
DeleteThis is one that I want to see, although I'm not sure how or when. You already know that I'm a big Jane Austen fan, so I won't gush for the millionth time. lol!
ReplyDeleteIt is on PBS which you can stream whenever you want, methinks.
DeleteIt's an add on, which I plan on doing anyways for All Creatures Great & Small.
DeleteThey always have fun stuff, you won't regret it. You can watch Poldark too.
DeleteI haven't seen this one and not sure if I will or not yet, but now I am curious about Angie's Undertaker show she's been watching. Going to have to see if we can get that on any of our streaming services or if I can torrent it.
ReplyDeleteIt is worth watching for the boys only, both seasons, they really are exquisite in this series. The story itself is utter trash. Theo James accepted the role in the first season and produced it only because the wench does not get the happy end with him lol
