FLATSHARE SERIES CASTS
JESSICA BROWN FINDLAY, BART EDWARDS, ANTHONY WELSH
Well, this is a quite lovely ensemble: Paramount + is adapting Beth O'Leary's FLATSHARE into a six part series and they have cast Jessica Brown Findlay and Anthony Welsh to play Tiffany and Leon, two broke twentysomethings who share a bed, despite never having met: they time-share
a bed as Tiffany spends her days earning minimum wage for minimum appreciation at a clickbait news website and Leon works long night shifts in a hospital. Soon they are drawn into one another’s lives, and an attraction begins to build in reverse. Our dearest Bart Edwards (Ciri's dad from The Witcher) and Jonah Hauer King will also star.
The series, originally meant for BBC, will be shot in six episodes |
This sounds exactly like what the world needs to watch right now! Modern, relevant, light hearted, and hopefully has a real cheesy happy ending. :)
ReplyDeleteUnless he was time sharing the bed with a psycho LOL
DeleteWhat if he’s the psycho?
DeleteHe could be, or they both could be.
DeleteHopefully it will be good.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteSounds cute. Though I don’t think I’d like to share my bed with a stranger. I have a hard enough time sharing it with Jason these days 🤣
ReplyDeletePffft, he at least does not sleep with a cat underneath his chin LOL
DeleteHe would if he could. She doesn't like him despite him trying to win her over every day LOL
DeleteYou girls always stick together.
DeleteI'm not on her side this week. Bitch went and caught a mouse and left it dead on my dining room floor. Ick!
DeleteEwwww... mine used to leave me headless birds.
DeleteMy friend said hers used to bring her headless rabbits. I'm not sure what's worse. Mice or other headless creatures.
DeleteBoth are nasteeeey!
DeleteTime-share bed?? WTF? The world is changing for sure..well, at least they found each other at the end.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, it is actually not a modern idea, back in the Victorian times, when cities started becoming overcrowded with too many people and not enough jobs, food and houses, tons of people in poor quarters would pay for a bed just for a few hours and would then go in search of work and leave the same bed to other lodger.
DeleteI just want to promote another series with Bart Edwards. It is this norwegian series that just ended it's 2nd season "State of Happiness". It is a period series set in late 60s - early 80s, it tells the story of how Norway found oil, and how society changed because of that.

Thank you for that info, Bart is one of the biggest loves of our lives and we treasure him dearly and follow his career from the beginnings.
DeleteVery different subject!
ReplyDeleteNo cooking in this one :)
DeleteYes! LOL.
