LA BREA EPIC TV SERIES
FIRST APOCALYPTIC IMAGE
There is literally just one new series coming to US networks this Autumn that I plan to watch and it is LA BREA epic adventure series starring
Eoin Macken, Natalie Zea, John Seda and Nicholas Gonzales in the lead roles. The series is currently shooting in Australia and will air in Autumn.
La Brea will start with the new Autumn season |
THE STORY OF LA BREA
begins
when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling
hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Those who fell in find
themselves in a mysterious and dangerous primeval land, where they have
no choice but to band together to survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the
world desperately seeks to understand what happened. In the search for
answers, one family torn apart by this disaster will have to unlock the
secrets of this inexplicable event to find a way back to each other.
Wow. Sounds cool.
ReplyDeleteWe do ever so love us apocalypse!
DeleteOh my! At least they didn’t die, although, those primitive animals sound like a guaranteed death right after.
ReplyDeleteYou can already see a pterodactyl in the poster!
DeleteThis has got cliffhanger finish and then cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons written all over it.
ReplyDeleteIt is NBC so it is highly possible it will get cancelled with the first season. NBC is the worst when it comes to that.
DeleteI hate it when this station cancels high-concept series
DeleteThey do it all the time, sadly.
Deletehow many viewers is the show most likely to have? 4 million, 5? 6? Or more ?
DeleteThat actually would not be a bad number at all. Given how unpromising the new season looks like, anything could become a hit, methinks.
Deletebut which numbers is La Brea most likely to have?
DeleteThis sounds like a really intense and good one!
ReplyDeleteHope it won't disappoint! I need me a good adventure this Autumn.
DeleteA fantastic and promising poster!
ReplyDeleteVery spooky indeed
DeleteEh, it's Los Angeles. I don't think most of us would care if it really was swallowed by a sinkhole. Hopefully Portland, Minneapolis, Detroit and Baltimore get sucked down too.
ReplyDeleteLOL But it really is fun that LA has that tar pit sitting there in reality too!
DeleteLa Brea's story sounds interesting & kinda realistic, think a lot of people are curious about somethin' like that happening in real life. 😉
ReplyDeleteNot really into Australian production though, I've watched quite a few shows/movies from there, & they were not that great, plus the accent. 🙄
This is American series, deary, it is just being shot Down Under because it is safer there. I adore Australian productions, accent (it is so crazy sexy) and their hunks, I would move there, but I hate heat too much.
DeleteLa Brea is a kind of interesting concept that I'm going to stick with the story and characters and then NBC cancel for no concrete reasons. but I'll love watching it has a lot of chances to be a hit this fall.
ReplyDeleteTrue that, and there is nothing else to look forward too next season, sadly.
