ZOE SALDANA TO BATTLE 19TH CENTURY PIRATES IN THE BLUFF HISTORICAL ADVENTURE AT NETFLIX! TAYLOR KITSCH JOINS CHRIS PRATT IN AMAZON'S TERMINAL LIST MOVIE

  ZOE SALDANA TO BATTLE
PIRATES IN THE BLUFF FILM
Zoe Saldana will lead The Bluff adventure
Netflix and director Frank E. Flowers are preparing a new historical adventure movie THE BLUFF and they have set Zoe Saldana as the lead. Apparently, several streaming services battled for the project set in the Cayman Islands in the 1800s in which Saldana plays Ercell, a Caribbean woman whose secret past is revealed when her island is invaded by vicious buccaneers. As Deadline writes, the intention is to blend visceral action and historical fiction to create a real action vehicle as the heroine fights against the atrocities committed by the pirates.  The movie will also have another strong female who is part of the vigilante campaign, and also the nasty lead pirate so stayed tuned for the casting updates for other of the leading roles.

Kitsch will play Ben Edwards, a former SEAL and Reece’s best friend. Now a member of CIA Ground Branch, Edwards uses his intelligence access and operator skill set to help Reece seek his vengeance.

  1. Both of these look good today. I'd be more interested in the first, whereas Jason would go for the second. Glad we have options for your tv watching nights.

    1. I'm with you as well, too bad it is not a TV series so that we can watch Zoe kick pirate bums on a weekly basis.
