  1. How come many times life improvements come with personal costs? I wonder why the couple is being pursued by the sheriff!

    1. They stole his lunch? They saw him stealing some other's people lunch? He heard they're coming to Fanny for lunch and he rushed after them to join them?

  2. This looks like a well-done 'delivery': british, period drama dealing with puritanism and womens' growing awareness of their very low status in married life.
Above all, a promising cast with Charles Dance on top.

  3. I'll watch for this one! The English Puritans of the 17th century are an interest of mine.

  4. The only strangers that come to my door anymore are religious zealots. Had a couple today but I just let them stand on the porch ringing the bell. They did leave their Jesus pamphlets stuck to my door though.
