JOURNEY TO CHINA POSTERS
Dragon's will fly this September in Russia and China |

THE STORY
The English traveller Jonathan Green (Jason Flemyng) receives from tzar Peter the Great an order to map the Russian Far East. Once again he sets out for a long journey full of incredible adventures that will eventually lead him to China. The cartographer will unexpectedly face a lot of breathtaking discoveries, encounter bizarre creatures, meet with Chinese Princesses, and confront deadly martial arts masters, and even the king of all dragons, the Dragon King. What could be more dangerous than meeting eye-to-eye with Viy, except doing it again? What would be stronger this time, a staunch scepticism of the scientist or the old black magic that has seized power of Eastern lands?

Chinese films always look so intense! I had forgotten all about this one too. I do like the posters.
ReplyDeleteI love it how Russia and China usually save their biggest hits for Autumn, unlike USA which roll their blockbusters in summer.
DeleteI would much prefer an autumn or even Christmas season for their blockbusters. I am so busy during the summer, I hardly ever have time to go to the movies. I did carve out a little bit to go see Aladdin, which I really enjoyed. I actually didn't mind Will Smith too much as Genie either. Now, Lion King is going to have to wait since we'll be in New York then, and that really bums me out because it was the one I was most looking forward to seeing this year.
DeleteI still ain't seeing Aladdin, I just cannot force myself to watch a rapping Genie. What will you be doing and seeing in New York, how long are you staying, make sure to alert me before you go so that I can water your plants and watch the house :)
DeleteWe're still planning on sites to see, but we're definitely doing the touristy stuff: Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and a Broadway show. Of course, we have eating authentic NY cheesecake and pizza as one of the first things we have to do while there lol. Dahlike, my house plants died long ago, so you're off the hook for watering them lol
DeleteFind some interesting pizza and do a post about it! We haven't seen much food from France last year.
DeleteI will try! I was told to find the sketchiest looking pizza place and that's where we'll find the best pizza. Hopefully, we don't get robbed while scoping out sketchy pizza joints lol.
DeleteI need to go back to Paris for the food. Those bastards really messed up my trip food-wise by winning the World Cup and causing everything to shut down. I still dream about the apple tarts and croissants almost daily though!
I'm always seeing crazy pizza places in NY on FoodNetwork's Facebook page. The last one I saw was roll pizza which has a very tin crust and can be rolled into rolls :)
DeleteInteresting. I like seeing Arnie as a bad guy.
ReplyDeleteHe and Chan are old friends!
DeleteThis looks great. Do they ever get released in English?
ReplyDeleteEventually, usually, yes, not necessarily always :) But you can always Torrent them.
DeleteThere are days on which we don't have $50 million in our back pocket.
ReplyDeleteUsually Fridays and Saturdays, Mondays not so much.
