THE STORY OF BRAVE NEW WORLD
is set in a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) have only ever known a rigid social order, a perfect pharmaceutical called Soma, and a culture of instant gratification and

life beyond the strictures of their society, they embark on a vacation

The only name I recognize is Demi Moore!
ReplyDeleteJoseph is a huge TV star, the rest are relatively unknown, although we've seen Bunbury before at Hollywood Spy, maybe if you remember that King Tut mini series, she played one of his queens.
DeleteI love scifi, so I am hopeful this will be good!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteDemi Moore - a pleasant addition to the cast.
ReplyDeleteShe's good looking and not a bad actress. They say she's part Cherokee, and a big doll collector (some 2000 dolls).
Hope she has no creepy dolls in her collection!
DeleteI haven't seen Demi Moore in anything lately, but I like that she's been added to the cast list. Seems like it's shaping up nicely so far!
ReplyDeleteWe do need more sf on the telly, I don't have any sf currently to watch :( I'm starting Beecham House and Name of the Rose this week since I finished Warrior and Westworld last week.
DeleteWhat did you think of Beecham House, deary?
DeleteIt was gorgeous with unexpectedly glamorous, epic and spectacular music, too bad cinematographer did not follow it with epic shots. The only thing that bothered me was the atrocious acting from Lesley Nicole, I did not know that woman is so shockingly talentless, she literally ruins every scene she is in. I guess she got the role just for being in Downton, she certainly wouldn't pass any real audition. I think it will be a beautifully exotic summer passtime for us!
DeleteNow I can't wait to see it for myself with that glowing review (minus the burn to Lesley Nicol lol). Lesley wasn't in too many scenes in Downton, so I guess I never really paid much attention to her acting ability, but hopefully I can overlook her part in this one and enjoy it anyway.
DeleteThey've airing the second episode tonight already, so I will keep that one for next week watching, methinks.
