Arthdal Chronicles start June 1st at Netflix |
I know this one looks cheap as cheapest hell, but I figured some of you might wanna check it out if you have nothing else to watch since it started airing last night at
Netflix!
ARTHDAL CHRONICLES is a new epic fantasy series coming from Korea which is being launched around the globe this weekend by the world's most popular streaming service. Starring
Song Joong-ki, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Ji-won and
Kim Ok-bin, the eighteen episode saga depicts the birth of civilization and nations in ancient times. It is a story of mythical heroes, their struggle, unity and love of people living in a virtual land called Arth.
ARTHDAL CHRONICLES
follows Eunseom (played by
Joong-ki), a
character who relentlessly fights to protect his own tribe. Eunseom may
appear innocent, but he does not hesitate

are imminent.
Jang Dong-gun plays Tagon, a son of Sanung who is the

Alongside Eunseom and Tagon are Tanya and Taealha, played by

The name Kim seems to be popular in Korea.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, it's populat in the West too. There are a lot of famous actresses who go by this name: Kim Novak, Kim Catrall, Kim Basinger, Kim Kardashian...In some cases it's the short form of Kimberly.
I like it; it's short and cute.
I understand the action of this south korean saga is set in ancient times. However, the struggles and conflicts are relevant to later times too, inclusive our times.
My favourite Kim is probably Kim Raver. I usually think that past does not end it constantly repeats, yours and mine country know that best.
DeleteProbably not one I'll watch on Netflix, but I did notice they are getting more and more foreign films on their service. Good for those of us who want more options aside from what the US offers.
ReplyDeleteYes, they especially have tons of Spanish ones! And they are now shooting their first Arabic series too LOL
