NEW 'STAR WARS FORCE AWAKENS' TRAILER! LOVELY 'LEARNING TO DRIVE' TRAILER WITH PATRICIA CLARKSON, BEN KINGSLEY. PAUL HAGGIS TO ADAPT 'THE LAST OF THE TRIBE' JUNGLE THRILLER, RIDLEY SCOTT ADAPTS 'DYING TO BE ME' CANCER BESTSELLER

'STAR WARS: FORCE AWAKENS'
BRAND NEW TRAILER AND MAIN CHARACTERS REVEALED!
Fresh thing today is the new teaser trailer for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS  in which Jason Isaac plays an X-wing fighter pilot sent on a mission by a certain princess who meets John Boyega’s stormtrooper and their fates are forever intertwined. Daisy Ridley will play Ray, a scavenger from the desert planet of Jaku who does everything for herself and is very solitary! There's also the first look at Harrison Ford's Han Solo!

PAUL HAGGIS TO ADAPT
'THE LAST OF THE TRIBE'
Two highly intriguing book adaptations for you today, with two great directors, starting with brilliant Paul Haggis who might direct the adaptation of THE LAST OF THE TRIBE jungle thriller based on The Last of the Tribe: The Epic Quest to Save a Lone Man in the Amazon, by Washington Post reporter Monte Reel. It's a compelling true story: It’s estimated that more than 40 undiscovered indigenous tribes make their home in the Brazilian Amazon. The constitution says that if there’s even one surviving Indian, the surrounding land becomes a preserve that cannot be exploited commercially. When one such Indian was discovered in 1996, big money interests tried to kill him, while a small group tried to save him.

RIDLEY SCOTT TO ADAPT
'DYING TO BE ME' CANCER BOOK
Meanwhile, 'Deadline' also reports that Ridley Scott will produce the movie adaptation of Anita Moorjani's bestseller DYING TO BE ME in which she describes her four-year battle against cancer. Over whelmed by malignant cells, her body began shutting down. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience where she realized her inherent worth and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, her condition improved. She wrote in the book that within three days, 70% of her cancer was gone. Shortly after, she was declared cancer free. She also recounts stories of her Hong Kong childhood, the search for true love, leading to a near end in a hospital bed. Raised in a Hindu family that lived in Chinese and British society, she came away from near death with an epiphany that miracles are popular.

SULLIVAN STAPLETON, JAIMIE ALEXANDER LEAD 'BLINDSPOT' PILOT! 'OCTOBER GALE' GRIPPING TRAILER WITH PATRICIA CLARKSON, SCOTT SPEEDMAN! 'IVANHOE' NEW EPIC ADAPTATION

NBC'S 'BLINDSPOT' PILOT
CASTS SULLIVAN STAPLETON AND JAIMIE ALEXANDER AS LEADS
As 'Deadline' reports, one of our favourite hunks, and we do love them Australian, don't we, 300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE star Sullivan Stapleton will be the lead star of NBC's new pilot BLINDSPOT! Stapleton, who was the most wanted star in this pilot season, will lead the show together with THOR's Jaimie Alexander who will play a beautiful woman, Jane Doe who is found in the middle of Times Square in New York City with her memory wiped and no clue as to what the extensive tattoos on her body mean. Sullivan Stapleton will play FBI special agent Kurt Weller, the leader of an elite FBI unit who is called in from a mission to investigate the woman — who, among all the tattoos, has his name written on her back. Rob Brown (Treme) and Audrey Esparza (Public Morals) will play members of his team.

WALTER SCOTT'S 'IVANHOE'
TO GET NEW MOVIE ADAPTATION
When it comes to our favourite epic genre, writer Irvine Welsh (TRAINSPOTTING) and director Jon S. Baird will adapt one of the most legendary of historical novels Walter Scott's IVANHOE!  As you probably remember from the famous 1950's movie with Joan Fontaine, Elizabeth Taylor and Robert Taylor, the story follows a worthy and noble knight who returns to England after the third Crusades. He fights to restore the good King Richard, believed to be held captive in an Austrian prison, and depose Richard’s wicked brother John. In this new take on the story, IVANHOE and his fellow returning knights are suffering to different degrees from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder following their ultimately failed exploits against Saladin and his successful recapturing of Jerusalem.

'OCTOBER GALE' TRAILER
PATRICIA CLARKSON & SCOTT SPEEDMAN ON AN ISLAND
First trailer and poster have been released for gripping thriller OCTOBER GALE in which Patricia Clarkson plays Helen, a recently widowed doctor, returns home to her isolated cottage off the Canadian coast to find a stranger with a gunshot wound (Scott Speedman) hiding out from two men intent on killing him. As an ominous storm brews outside, trapping the pair on the island, they must join forces to survive a harrowing night of terror, while navigating the mounting attraction growing between them. Full of hairpin plot twists and unrelenting tension, OCTOBER GALE is a grippingly suspenseful spine-chiller. The movie is out in Canada this March.
