DOMINIC WEST JOINS
BBC'S SAS: ROGUE HEROES
A few weeks ago I told you that BBC is preparing a mammoth new war series SAS: ROGUE HEROES, a dramatised account of how the world’s greatest Special Forces unit, the SAS, was formed under extraordinary
circumstances in the darkest days of World War Two, and now we have Dominic West joining Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell and Alfie Allen, in the cast. West will play Lieutenant Colonel Wrangel Clarke. Cairo, 1941. David Stirling (Swindells) - an eccentric young officer, hospitalised after a training exercise went wrong - is bored. Convinced that traditional commando units don’t work, he creates a radical plan that flies in the face of all accepted rules of modern warfare. He fights for permission to recruit the toughest, boldest and brightest soldiers for a small undercover unit that will create mayhem behind enemy lines. More
rebels than soldiers, Stirling’s team are every bit as complicated, flawed and reckless as they are astonishingly brave and heroic. Rich with action and set-pieces, SAS: Rogue Heroes is the exhilarating story of renegade men taking monumental risks in extraordinary circumstances. The six part saga comes from Steven Knight.

Trapped in a cycle of time jumps, transported another year ahead every few minutes, Teddy is faced with a race against time as his life crumbles around him. With the help of his best friend Sam, Teddy tries to piece together where it all went wrong and, as his life flashes before his eyes, Teddy must learn how to live life in the precious moments to win back the woman he loves, even if it’s just for a second.
