We are ending our Asian Invasion Weekend today with a project coming straight from Hollywood which has gathered most of the Asian stars working in America in its cast. New Line has set March 2021 (which is when another 90s iconic epic adventure Masters of the Universe will also premiere its latest movie adaptation) date as the premiere for the new big screen adaptation of famous video game MORTAL KOMBAT but they already have most of the cast announced for the film which will be the first Mortal Kombat movie in more than twenty years and it is set to be directed by Simon McQuoid who will find himself for the first time behind the helm of a major blockbuster. Hiroyuki Sanada is already down in South Australia where the filming is taking place and he is set to play undead ninja Scorpion!   1. I remember playing Mortal Kombat on my Sega waaaaay back in the day. I was really good at it too. Other than Mario Brothers and Sonic, that was the extent of my gaming though. I may have to watch this film, for nostalgia sake.

    1. I bet you was sega mega amazing in it :) The only game I ever played was Age of Empires, and that only for the building part where you build castles, walls and your estate and mine for gold.
