EMILY BLUNT JOINS JAMIE DORNAN IN WILDE MOUNTAIN THYME IRISH ROMANCE WITH JOHN HAMM, CHRISTOPHER WALKEN!

'WILD MOUNTAIN THYME'
PUTS JAMIE DORNAN AND EMILY BLUNT IN LOVE
Earlier last spring I told you that John Patrick Shanley is preparing to turn his Broadway stage play Outside Mullingar into a romantic movie titled WILD MOUNTAIN THYME and that Jamie Dornan and Holliday
Emily Blunt takes over the lead female role
Grainger will play the lovebirds in it, but she is now being replaced by Emily Blunt with John Hamm and Christopher Walken also joining the cast in the story set in the enchanting landscapes of rural Ireland. Dornan and Blunt will play obstinate star crossed lovers, whose families are caught up in a feud over a hotly contested patch of land that separates their two farms!

Anthony (Jamie Dornan) always seems to be out in the fields working, worn down by his father’s (Christopher Walken) constant belittling. But what really stings is his father’s threat to bequeath the family farm to his American cousin Adam (John Hamm). Rosemary (Emily Blunt) at first seems to hold a grudge for having been shamed by Anthony in
Jamie Dornan will shoot the film in his Irish homeland
childhood, but the sparks between them would keep a bonfire blazing through the night. Her mother Aoife (Dearbhla Molloy) strives to unite the families before it is too late.

  1. Dornan, Blunt, and Ireland. That's all I need to know before committing to watching this film. It's going to be beautiful all around!

    1. Hope he does not talk too much, unlike her, he is a rather terrible actor, just gorgeous and not much else, poor sod.

  2. Emily Blunt is one of my all time favorite actresses. I absolutely adore her. Christopher Walken is great, but I can’t picture him as a borderline abusive father! This one I want to see.

  3. I can totally see Walken as an abusive father. I remember I first became aware of him in Sarah Plain and Tall. He was the romantic lead, and I loved his character. He's taken some roles since with some really psycho people. It's hard to see him as anything romantic anymore.
