IT'S A CHAOS IN 19TH CENTURY CHINATOWN IN HBO MAX' WARRIOR EPIC TV SERIES SEASON 3 TRAILER!

   WARRIOR SERIES SEASON 3
LET THE WAR BEGIN!
It seems like we waited forever after it was transferred from Cinemax to HBO Max, but the air date for the third season of fan favourite WARRIOR series is finally closing upon us: new season will premiere June 29th with a

three episode launch and you can check out the brand new longer trailer below. In the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in season two, Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) uses her government connections to consolidate power, while Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and the Hop Wei must find new ways to survive. Tom Weston Jones, Kieran Bew, Joe Taslim, Dean Jagger, Olivia Cheng, Hoon Lee, Langley Kirkwood, Mark Dacascos all return to the 19th century set martial arts saga based on the original writings from legendary Bruce Lee. Telly Leung has joined season three as Marcel, a nomadic Chinese nightclub singer, working on the Barbary Coast; Kevin Otto as Horace Clark, Bill’s (Kieran Bew) condescending brother-in-law and owner of a successful cement factory; Adam Rayner as Douglas Strickland III, a ruthless railroad baron and an old friend of Nellie’s husband; Nick Cordileone as Edmund Mosely, a Secret Service agent who comes to San Francisco to pursue an important case. Dominique Maher as Catherine Archer, a political booster who takes an interest in Mayor Buckley; Neels Claasen as Benjamin Atwood, the newly-appointed Chief of the San Francisco Police; Sean Marco as Stewart Gumm, Mayor Buckley’s conniving right-hand man; Jazzara Jaslyn as Eliza Pendleton, a wealthy socialite who takes an interest in Mai Ling; Colin Moss as Franklin Thayer, a charismatic candidate for San Francisco Mayor; Sizo Mahlangu as Isaac, the ruthless lieutenant to Happy Jack and a notorious Barbary Coast gangster. Season two ended in December 2020, so it has been a very long wait, but although the series had modest viewings in linear airing, it reached legendary numbers when both seasons started streaming on HBO Max, so the third season was ordered, with possible fourth coming our way too!

DYLAN MCDERMOTT TO STAR WITH MAGGIE Q IN 'RED FLAG' QUEEN OF PIRATES EPIC SERIES! ADRIEN BRODY AND NI NI TO HAVE A 'MANHATTAN LOVE STORY'! JOE TASLIM JOINS 'STAR TREK BEYOND'!

 'RED FLAG' EPIC SERIES
DYLAN MCDERMOTT & MAGGIE Q?
We're going a bit Asian today, people. The first Asian related piece of news comes from new historical show we've been anxiously awaiting for a year now and now it seems it is moving on with the production: Maggie Q's epic series RED FLAG about the queen of pirates is to be penned by famous David Franzoni (GLADIATOR) and could also possibly star Maggie's fiance and STALKER co-star Dylan McDermott as an American Revolutionary. Francois Arnaud has already been announced as Carlito, the Portuguese sailor and bounty hunter engaged to hunt down and capture Ching Shih who becomes her lover.
QUEEN OF CHINESE PIRATES
Set in the early 1800s, RED FLAG follows Ching Shih (Maggie Q), a beautiful young Chinese prostitute who goes on to become one of history’s most powerful pirates and head of the most successful crime syndicate in Canton China. With over 100,000 sailors and 1500-plus vessels, Ching controlled the South China Sea while taking on the Imperial Chinese navy, the Portuguese navy, and the all powerful British navy to eventually conquer them all.

 'STAR TREK BEYOND'
JOE TASLIM AND IDRIS ELBA JOIN
Meanwhile, in the news from the new instalment of the popular science fiction franchise STAR TREK BEYOND, Indonesian star Joe Taslim has joined the cast reuniting with director Justin Lin after FAST & FURIOUS. It isn't known whom he will play, but we know that Idris Elba is playing a villain in the story in which U.S.S. Enterprise is starting their five-year mission in which they will explore different worlds and new alien species. Chris Pine  returns as Captain Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, Karl Urban as Doctor Bones,  Anton Yelchin as Chekov and John Cho as Sulu! The movie is coming out next July to celebrate 50th anniversary of STAR TREK TV series.

 'MANHATTAN LOVE STORY'
WITH ADRIEN BRODY AND NI NI
After starring in record breaking Chinese Roman epic DRAGON BLADE (which earned more than $120 million in China this year) Adrien Brody will join stunning Chinese star Ni Ni (you probably remember her starring next to Hollywood star Christian Bale in Zhang Yimou's  Oscar contender epic drama FLOWERS OF WAR) in romantic movie MANHATTAN LOVE STORY to be shot in New York with Chinese producers with the $15 million film to be released on both markets and world wide as well. The plot of MANHATTAN LOVE STORY centres on a pair who are from far different lands and backgrounds — he’s Italian, she’s Chinese. They meet through a series of comedic and touching moments centred on their cultural differences and fall in love in modern New York City.
