First two movies arrive this summer

After the world premiere this weekend at Cannes, Kevin Costner will split his epic movie HORIZON: AN AMERICAN SAGA into two parts with the first one opening June 28th next year, and the second one in August 16th! You can see a new trailer below! Sam Worthington, Danny Huston, Sienna Miller, Tatanka Means, Luke Wilson also star in the story that follows the 15-year span of pre- and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant onslaught of natural elements, to the interactions with the indigenous peoples who lived on the land, and the determination and at many times ruthlessness of those who sought to settle it. Costner will start production on the third part of the envisioned four part saga next month!

Beside Serpent Queen and Dangerous Liaisons, another costume drama that Autumn is bringing us is ROSALINE, a period set movie arriving to Hulu and Disney's Star channels around the world from October 14th starring Last Man Standing's Kaitlyn Dever as Romeo's (Kyle Allen) original girlfriend and Juliet's (Isabela Merced) cousin. Sean Teale, godawful Minnie Driver and Bradley Whitford also star in this movie adaptation of When You Were Mine bestselling novel by Rebecca Serle which had a number of previous adaptation plans before.

 directed by Karen Maine, is a romantic comedy told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Twenty two years after Dances with Wolves, Kevin Costner is returning to the Wild West in HORIZON, an epic movie which he will both direct and star in.

The story chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American west. "America’s expansion into the west was one that was fraught with peril and intrigue from the natural elements, to the interactions with the indigenous peoples who lived on the land, and the determination and at many times ruthlessness of those who sought to settle it,” Costner told Deadline. Horizon tells the story of that journey in an honest and forthcoming way, highlighting the points of view and consequences of the characters life and death decisions.
