 MALE LEAD IN 'YOUNG AND SOFIA' SITCOM SPIN OFF

As you know Freeform's super popular multi camera comedy series YOUNG AND HUNGRY returns next week with the new episodes, but one of its most popular characters, Sofia or Lil' Soso is getting her own spin off sitcom called YOUNG AND SOFIA! Aimee Carrero will again play Sofia, and the latest news say that always lovely Steve Talley will be her male lead! Ryan Pinkston will also star!

It isn't known whether Sofia Rodriguez, banking intern and roommate to Gabi (Emily Osment) will leave YOUNG AND HUNGRY when in the possible spinoff (which will be announced in episode 8th of the 4th season) she lands a job working for an overbearing boss at a magazine. Steve Talley will be Kendrick, a super-hot, sexy and masculine journalist with whom Sofia is immediately intrigued by, while Pinkston will be the magazine's pop culture editor.

The second trailer has also been released for Disney's anticipated sequel FINDING DORY in which the eponymous forgetful blue tang searches for her parents. Along with Nemo and his dad, Marlin, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s Marine Life Institute, aka the fish hospital.

JOINS 'A LITTLE MERMAID' MOVIE

While Disney is preparing their own live action version on the same fairy tale, another live action adaptation of A LITTLE MERMAID has just cast ROYALS star William Moseley as the lead actor next to Shirley MacLaine. It will follow Elle (Loreto Peralta), a young orphan who discovers a beautiful and enchanting creature (Poppy Drayton who was painfully bad in SHANNARA) she believes to be the real “Little Mermaid.” Moseley is Cam Harrison, Elle’s overprotective older brother who has come to the U.S. to live after the deaths of her parents. A newspaperman, he is sent to a small Mississippi town on an assignment to find out more about some mysterious healing waters and ends up learning more than he ever imagined about the power of love, belief and magic, both light and dark.

SEA CHARACTERS REVEALED!

Now, here's some animated delight for you today: Pixar has released first images of new sea creatures that will appear in their FINDING DORY sequel swimming into theatres June 17th! Crazy new characters include a pair of sea lions (voiced by Dominic West and Idris Elba), Rudder and Fluke who sound like East London gangsters; Jenny and Charlie, Dory's parents (Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy), Bailey the beluga whale (Ty Burrell), a cranky octopus named Hank (Ed O'Neill) and a whale shark named Destiny (Kaitlin Olson). There are also ocean loons and otters who don't speak but appear with their own shenanigans like seagulls in the first movie.

SEARCH FOR FAMILY 
The story of FINDING DORY moves to the West Coast, as Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) starts to remember who her parents are, which sets her off on a journey to Monterey, California to track them down. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark and Hank, an octopus, who becomes her guide. The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

ANIMATED MOVIE GETS US CINEMATIC RELEASE

We're going animated today, people, starting with the announce- ment that Lionsgate will distribute Studio Canal's animated movie ROBINSON CRUSOE in the United States after the movie rolls out next year in European theatres! Ben Stassen's 3D timeless adventure animated feature about the island castaway will be released sometime next summer. According to 'Deadline' the animated film brings the venerable Robinson Crusoe story to life in 3D and as seen through the eyes of the hero’s quirky companions, including his larger-than-life parrot Tuesday, who dreams of exploring the world.

ADAPTATION OF GRIMM'S 'THE BREMEN TOWN MUSICIANS'  
Meanwhile, Paralax Media Ventures will produce an animated movie adaptation based on the Grimm’s fairy tale THE BREMEN TOWN MUSICIANS! The $60 million project, aimed for 2017, and titled simply MUSICAL, brings the story of four animals — a rooster, a donkey, a cat, and dog — who form a band to win a music contest in Germany.

A day ago the first poster was released and now the first trailer too and both are boring as hell! Pixar's FINDING DORY is swimming into cinemas next June directed by brilliant Andrew Stanton! It begins just six months after the first movie came to an end. Ellen DeGeneres is back as Dory who is living what appears to be a nice, quiet life swimming amongst the other clown fish. But after setting off with Nemo on a class trip to see manta rays migrate back home, she becomes a bit homesick herself. This leads the forgetful blue tang on a quest to discover where she truly comes from.

It's a Disney day today, people, since the studio has announced a number of great news today, starting with pop star Shakira who will lend her voice to Gazelle and she will also sing the main song TRY EVERYTHING written by Sia in ZOOTOPIA! Gazelle will be the biggest pop star next March in ZOOTOPIA, the modern mammal metropolis in which the main hero an optimistic police bunny  discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy!

'GIGANTIC' JACK & MAGIC BEAN ANIMATED FILM
But probably the biggest is the announcement of GIGANTIC, Jack and the Magic Bean animated Disney movie directed by TANGLED's Nathan Greno with the story  set in Spain during the Age of Exploration, and following adventure seeker Jack as he discovers a world of giants hidden within the clouds. He hatches a grand plan with Inma, a 60-foot-tall girl, and agrees to help her stop a group of villains called Storm Giants! The movie is set for 2018 release after MOANA in 2016.The music is being written by FROZEN composers!

They have also revealed the first image from FINDING DORY sequel arriving next summer to reunite Dory with friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? With voices from Ellen DeGeneres and Diane Keaton, new characters will include a cantankerous octopus, a misguided beluga whale and  a kind hearted whale shark!

Disney has also released first two posters for live action adventure sequel ALICE IN WONDERLAND: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS which arrives into cinemas next May with the return of Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as the title character Alice. Anne Hathaway will also return as White Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as Red Queen and Stephen Fry as Cheshire Cat! Joining Alice in her quest to save Mad Hatter, will be Rhys Ifans as Zanik Hightopp, the Mad Hatter's father and Ed Speleers as James Harcourt.

Disney has also revealed the first cast photo from STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE spin off which includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen,  Donnie Yen and Riz Ahmed. The movie with deal with the stolen plans of Death Star and is directed by Gareth Edwards for December 2016 release.
