ROMANTIC COMEDY SERIES GETS A TRAILER
BBC has released a trailer for their new six episode romantic comedy series FILM CLUB that stars Aimee Lou Wood and Nabhaan Rizwan
as Tom 
and Evie who watch a film together in her garage every week. Starting October 7th on BBC Three, the series also stars Suranne Jones and Owen Cooper.

WHAT IS THE STORY?
Evie lovingly decorates the space to match the film of the week - from a
yellow brick road for The Wizard of Oz to a space craft for Alien. It's
magical. 
They’re there for the love of themovies.
Or at least, that’s what they tell themselves.
In reality, Tom is madly in love with Evie. What he doesn’t know
is that
Evie is in love with him too. But when Tom accepts a job at the other
end of the country, their happily ever after comes under threat. He's
leaving 
in six weeks. That means Evie has six film clubs left to tell
Tom how she feels, or risk losing him forever. Check out the trailer below:

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that they ditched it over to BBC 3 which does not promise anything good LOL But maybe it was done before Aimee became popular after White Lotus stint.

DeleteOh, this new BBC series sounds so lovely and absolutely adorable. I am definitely adding this to my watchlist! The concept of Evie decorating the garage to match the film, from The Wizard of Oz to Alien, is just the sweetest way to show her love.
