TO LEAD NEW JANE EYRE TV SERIES

Working Title is preparing a new TV series adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's JANE EYRE with Aimee Lou Wood set as the lead and broadcasters in negotiations. Published back in 1847 novel and considered revolutionary for its first-person narrative style and approach to class, sexuality and female independence — it follows the titular heroine as she grows into adulthood and falls for the brooding Mr. Rochester.

First image has been released with Johnny Flynn and Aimee Lou Wood from IDIOT(S) period set movie which also stars Vicky Krieps and Christian Friedel. The film follows the lives of the famous writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky and his wife Anna during a period that inspired him to write “The Idiot” at the time a commercial flop, but today, considered one of the greatest novels in the history of literature. He wrote it in Switzerland where they ran off from debts in Russia.

It will be one of the most star studded movie projects ever and we have the first images to prove it: THE BEATLES A Four Film Cinema Experience will see Paul Mescal starring as Paul McCartney. Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. It will be a long wait, though, because the four films directed by Sam Mendes, each from the perspective of a different Beatle, are set to be released on the same day - 7th April 2028. The stellar cast also includes Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, James Norton as Brian Epstein, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, Harry Lloyd as George Martin and David Morrissey as Jim McCartney. Leanne Best will play Mimi Smith, Bobby Schofield will play Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill will play Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill will play Derek Taylor and Adam Pally will play Allen Klein. Each of the four movies will tell the story of one of the famous music group members and will be, strangely enough, released at the same time. Who do you think will be most popular?

ROMANTIC COMEDY SERIES GETS A TRAILER

BBC has released a trailer for their new six episode romantic comedy series FILM CLUB that stars Aimee Lou Wood and Nabhaan Rizwan as Tom and Evie who watch a film together in her garage every week. Starting October 7th on BBC Three, the series also stars Suranne Jones and Owen Cooper.

 WHAT IS THE STORY?

  Evie lovingly decorates the space to match the film of the week - from a yellow brick road for The Wizard of Oz to a space craft for Alien. It's magical. They’re there for the love of themovies. Or at least, that’s what they tell themselves. In reality, Tom is madly in love with Evie. What he doesn’t know is that Evie is in love with him too. But when Tom accepts a job at the other end of the country, their happily ever after comes under threat. He's leaving in six weeks. That means Evie has six film clubs left to tell Tom how she feels, or risk losing him forever. Check out the trailer below:
