BALLAD OF RENEGADE NELL
ANNOUNCED AS DISNEY's 1ST SWASHBUCKLING TV SERIES
|
The series will have eight episodes

Well, they haven't had any historical series so far, methinks, but
Disney + will change that with their new British order: Gentleman Jack's
Sally Wainwright will produce for them
THE BALLAD OF RENEGADE NELL eight part series, a stylish, witty and surprising romp set in the 18th century! When she’s framed for murder, Nell Jackson is forced into a life of highway robbery, along with her two orphaned sisters Roxanne and George. Aided by a plucky little spirit called Billy Blind, Nell realizes that fate has put her on the wrong side of the law for a reason, a reason much bigger than she could’ve ever imagined, a reason that goes right up to Queen Anne and beyond, to the struggle for power raging across the battlefields of Europe.
This is one I could probably get into. I'll wait for the trailer to decide though. The picture sure did grab my attention.
ReplyDeleteHope they will cast someone nice, I hated Surrane Jones in Gentleman Jack and Sally has a liking towards those talentless butch ladies. One of the reasons I will not watch NEVERS is horrid female casting in it.
DeleteI passed on Gentleman Jack. I agree that Surrane Jones was just not an appealing choice. Fingers crossed for good casting. Or at least some hunky eye candy to swallow this down if not LOL
DeleteI am not optimistic as it is Disney, world's worst casting studio, but hope dies last.
DeleteI really like the poster...Nell looks determined, sexy and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is just my illustration for the story, we don't have any official photos LOL
DeleteI will wait for the first series from Disney.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if musicals are also made like other films from Disney.
They have musicals as well.
DeleteI'll wait to see what everyone thinks of this one before I watch it. Right now, we're watching the Winter Soldier series and actually enjoying it. Probably b/c my boyfriend Sebastian Stan is in it, but still, loving it. LOL All other Disney+ series have been unwatchable for me (that includes Wandavision).
ReplyDeleteIs he gay in it? We hate Wandavision here because that ho Elizabeth Olsen once said my country is about 13 years old and we have nothing unique of our own, a conclusion she came to after shooting a film here. Meanwhile, we are a couple of centuries older than USA and are famous both for our culture and food and music and history. What a stupid cunt she is. She is the most despised person currently LOL Imagine being that stupid to make a whole country hate you after welcoming you on its sets?
DeleteHe's just angry so we don't really know if he's gay or not.. but he's actually quite sexy with his angry gaze. LOL Wow, Olsen really needs to shut her mouth if she don't know something!
DeleteShe is so stupid, it is painful and embarrassing too.
