But her nature loving dad (Danny McBride) insists on driving her to school with the whole family for some bonding during one last forced road trip. Just as things seemingly can't get any worse, the family suddenly finds itself in the middle of the robot uprising. Everything from smartphones, to roombas, and even evil Furbys are employed to capture every human on the planet. It falls to the Mitchells, including upbeat mom Linda (Maya Rudolph), quirky little brother Aaron, their squishy pug, Monchi, and two friendly, but simple-minded robots, to save humanity.

  3. Both covers look amazin', and even though I love Julianne Moore... Think I prefer her acting skills over voice-overs 😉

  4. I knew Rumbas were evil, I just knew it!! These both look great, but #2 wins it for me. Sounds like a nice pick for a family movie night.

    2. They are motorized robotic vacuums that eat the fringes on rugs and move things out of place as they (sort of) clean the floor.

    3. I've always hated fringes on rugs, so I'm on rumbas' side.

    1. Ours are open, everything else is closed, cafes, restaurants even shops that don't sell food, but theatres and cinemas work for some reason. Not that there are movies in them now that Hollywood is sleeping.
