CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, set in the 1930s Yorkshire Dales, will see Nicholas Ralph return as young country vet James Herriot, Samuel West as his boss Siegfried Farnon, Anna Madeley as their housekeeper, Callum Woodhouse as Siegfried’s errant brother Tristan Farnon and Rachel Shenton as James' love interest. Matthew Lewis whom she was supposed to marry will also return. Also joining the cast are Dorothy Atkinson as Diana Brompton, whose vivacious nature captures Siegfried Farnon’s eye at the local Church Hall Dance, and James Fleet as Colonel Merrick, an impressive military man and local farmer. The second

All creatures great and small looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a lovely series in the first season.
DeleteAll creatures great and small is my FAVOURITE! I have read the book, watched the film (starring Anthony Hopkins) and the TV series (staring Christopher Timothy). Hope this new version will be GOOD too.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't seen it yet? It aired last year and it was lovely, hope the second season will be even better.
DeleteAll Creatures Great and Small is one I remember saying that I wanted to watch last year, but yet another one that I never got around to. We lost the app where we were able to watch different shows from international stations a few months back too. We may need to find another!
ReplyDeleteThat one airs on PBS Masterpiece in your country.
DeleteLike Jax, I have All Creatures on my list, but haven't caught any of it yet. I feel I am so far behind on movies and television, I need to narrow down the best of the best and start watching them or I am so going to be out if the loop.
ReplyDeleteIt has just seven episodes, so it is a quick watch.
