EMOTIONAL TRAILER AND AIR DATE FOR THE SIXTH SEASON OF BELOVED SERIES ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL!

 SEASON 6 TRAILER 
FOR ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL
Channel 5 and PBS Masterpiece have revealed first trailer for the 6th season of the beloved series ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL which returns September 25th in Great Britain. Based on James Herriot's books it will again have six episodes plus the traditional Christmas special in December. In USA the series will return probably at the beginning of the next year as it usually does in January. Season seven has been ordered already.
 
SEASON SIX RETURNS TO
 Yorkshire Dales for more human and animal tales but this time, the Skeldale gang is in a different situation, just as the war in Europe is coming to a close in 1945. Nicholas Ralph reprises his role as vet James Herriot, alongside Samuel West as his business partner Siegfried Farnon. Anna Madeley returns as dear Mrs. Hall, followed by Rachel Shenton (Helen Herriot), Callum Woodhouse (Tristan Farnon), Patricia Hodge (Mrs. Pumphrey), Tony Pitts (Richard Alderson) and Imogen Clawson (Jenny). Joining the cast for the new chapter will be Lucy-Jo Hudson, Gaia Wise, Jonathan Hyde, Philip Martin Brown and Chris Gascoyne. Check out the trailer below in which it seems the kids are grown up and everybody has moved on with life.

ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL SEASON 5 CHRISTMAS EPISODE TRAILER AND AIR DATE REVEALED

SEASON FIVE CHRISTMAS EPISODE
Arriving December 23rd to Channel 5 is traditional Christmas episode of ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL. In season five's festive episode,Skeldale House prepares for Christmas, and Jimmy’s first birthday, without the usual festive treats available. Mrs Hall (Anna Madeley) has figured out how to deliver the ideal Christmas, but when her world is rocked by a worrying news bulletin, the Skeldale family do their best to support her. A young boy arrives at the surgery with an abandoned fox cub and Mrs Hall can’t help feeling a connection with the animal. Meanwhile, Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) is given an important Royal Army Veterinary Corps mission involving pigeons. He is underwhelmed by the task and Siegfried (Samuel West) sends him to Enoch Sykes, a cantankerous pigeon fancier. Tristan’s attempt to win over Enoch’s trust doesn’t go to plan. Helen (Rachel Shenton) and James (Nicholas Ralph) prepare for Jimmy's birthday tea at Heston Grange, but Helen has to deal with some family disagreements. When the fox needs veterinary help, Siegfried faces a difficult decision as to how best to care for the animal, whilst also looking after Mrs Hall.

SEASON FIVE TRAILER AND AIRING DATE
What would the last quarter of the year be without Channel 5's tentpole series ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, right? It is returning with the fifth season, with the sixth already ordered, September 19th with six new episodes and the seventh festive one airing later on at Christmas. The series will also return with the new season to PBS Masterpiece for the viewers in United States January 12th and will air on Sunday nights.
 
IT IS NOW SPRING OF 1941
and we return to Darrowby to find young baby Jimmy keeping everyone in Skeldale House on their toes. Helen is getting the hang of motherhood with James away at RAF Abingdon, Mrs. Hall and Siegfried are enjoying having a little one around and Carmody is now a full-fledged member of the Skeldale family. With World War II now fully underway, Siegfried is taking up the slack at the surgery, Mrs. Hall and Helen are considering their contribution within the community, and Carmody is eager to step up. Siegfried is keen to have everyone back, but Tristan’s surprise return won’t be quite as straightforward as he hoped. 
 

 WHO IS BACK IN THE NEW SEASON?
The series returns to Yorkshire Dales in the 1940s with Nicholas Ralph as vet James Herriot, and Samuel West as his mercurial mentor Siegfried Farnon. Anna Madeley returns as the matriarch of Skeldale House, Mrs Hall along with Rachel Shenton as James' wife Helen Herriot. James Anthony-Rose returns as Richard Carmody, Patricia Hodge as the rich Mrs Pumphrey, owner of the well pampered Pekingese Tricki. Callum Woodhouse is back as Tristan Farnon, Siegfried’s mischievous brother who has been serving in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, when he makes an unexpected return later in the series.

CHANNEL 5 SETS AIRING DATES FOR THE FIFTH SEASON OF ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL AND THE WIVES SERIES

 CHANNEL 5 AUTUMN SCHEDULE 
FIRST AIRING DATES REVEALED
Aiming to take the lead in UK viewership this season, Channel 5 has set an ambitious slate of series for this Autumn, and with THE TEACHER season two launching September 9th, we now also have the September 19th return date for the fifth season of their tentpole series ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL with six new episodes airing on Thursday nights and I will post the trailer for it as soon as they release it. Meanwhile new thriller series THE WIVES which follows three sisters-in-law trying to solve a mystery that shook their family to its core will start Monday September 16th and will air each night till Wednesday as a three day event. Until we get a trailer for that one, you can check out a trailer for all Channel 5's Autumn shows, including period set drama THE HARDACRES which will also launch till the end of the year.

CHRISTMAS ON BRITISH TV: AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER IS EASY, MEN UP VIAGRA MOVIE, 2ND SEASON OF JAMIE DORNAN'S TOURIST, ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL SPECIAL AND GHOST STORY FOR CHRISTMAS

 CHRISTMAS ON BRITISH TV 
AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER IS EASY
BBC has unveiled their Christmas line up this year and it includes Agatha Christie series MURDER IS EASY which will air on BBC One set in England, 1954. On a train to London, Fitzwilliam (David Jonsson) meets Miss Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton), who tells him that a killer is on the loose in the sleepy English village of Wychwood under Ashe. The villagers believe the deaths are mere accidents, but Miss Pinkerton knows otherwise – and when she's later found dead on her way to Scotland Yard, Fitzwilliam feels he must find the killer before they can strike again. Because for a certain kind of person, murder is easy… Morfydd Clark, Tom Riley, and Mark Bonnar also star.

  MEN UP TV MOVIE
BBC One will also air Iwan Rheon and Paul Rhys in MEN UP television movie which explores the lives of five ordinary Welshmen who embark on an extraordinary journey when they take part in the trial of a new drug which would later become Viagra. The feature-length drama is loosely inspired by the remarkable true story of one of the world's first medical trials for the drug, held in Swansea’s Morriston Hospital in 1994.

SECOND SEASON OF THE TOURIST
Also launching on BBC One during the holidays will be the second season of Jamie Dornan's THE TOURIST series with him playing Elliot who together with Helen (Danielle Macdonald) travels to Ireland to find answers about Elliot’s identity, but instead they are forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions.

  A GHOST STORY FOR CHRISTMAS
 BBC Two will see the premiere of a half hour long short movie A GHOST STORY FOR CHRISTMAS: LOT No249 an Arthur Conan Doyle adaptation starring Kit Harington and Freddie Fox. 1881. Old College, Oxford plays host to three very different young academics: Abercrombie Smith, a model of Victorian manhood, clean of limb and sound of mind; Monkhouse Lee, a delicate and unworldly student from Siam; and the strange and exotic Edward Bellingham, whose arcane research into Ancient Egypt is the talk of the campus.

ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL
Over on Channel 5 December 21st will bring us the traditional Christmas special of ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL series with James far from home, stationed at an RAF training base. A heartfelt phone call with Helen, who is expecting their child, fills him with a longing to return to her side. The question looms: will he manage to make it home in time to celebrate Christmas? Back in Darrowby, Mrs. Hall busies herself orchestrating a festive community celebration, imbuing the town with the spirit of the season. Meanwhile, Siegfried and Carmody find themselves in a lighthearted dispute over who will don the mantle of Father Christmas this year.

SEASON FOUR TRAILER IS HERE
Even though they will be missing Tristan who has gone to war, our heroes from ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL will, it seems, have a brand new newbie to torture and poke fun with, at least judging by the trailer for season four which starts on Channel 5 October 5th with six brand new episode plus a festive one for Christmas. The series will also air on PBS Masterpiece for US audience in January. Check out the trailer below the post.
 
THE FOURTH SEASON
of the hit historical drama, based on the novels by James Herriot, will start off in Spring 1940, and will see James (Nicholas Ralph) and Helen (Rachel Shenton) thinking about starting a family - however, they currently don't know whether or not James will be called up to serve in the RAF. Meanwhile, Tristan’s absence is felt by all, but particularly by Siegfried (Samuel West), who attempts to hold the growing household together. However, the arrival of trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody (James Anthony-Rose) causes complications. Anna Madeley returns as Mrs Hall and Patricia Hodge as Mrs Pumphrey. A new cast member joining this season is Neve McIntosh as Miss Harbottle, a highly efficient bookkeeper that Siegfried and James bring in as one of the extra pairs of hands to help around the practice. Tony Pitts, Imogen Clawson, Paul Copley, Cleo Sylvestre, James Bolam, Will Thorp and Sam Retford also star in the new season.

Channel 5 has added new faces to the cat of the fourth season of ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL series which returns this Autumn (plus a new Christmas special) and picks up in 1940 as Churchill takes office and Europe is under serious threat! Nicholas Ralph returns as young

country vet James Herriot, now happily married to Helen Herriot (Rachel Shenton). Samuel West is back as James’ capricious and erratic mentor Siegfried Farnon while Anna Madeley continues as Mrs Hall, matriarch of Skeldale House. Patricia Hodge also reprises her role as Mrs Pumphrey, alongside her Pekingese Tricki. Neve McIntosh joins the cast as highly efficient bookkeeper Miss Harbottle, with James Anthony-Rose as studious undergraduate vet student Richard Carmody. Joining them are Tony Pitts, Imogen Clawson, Paul Copley, Cleo Sylvestre MBE, James Bolam MBE, Will Thorp and Sam Retford.

 BONNARD, PIERRE AND MARTHE 
FIRST CLIP FROM FRENCH DRAMA
Straight from Cannes come the first clip and photos from new period set movie BONNARD, PIERRE AND MARTHE which explores the art and love story of renowned French painters Pierre Bonnard (Vincent Macaigne) and his wife Marthe (Cecile de France). The film, which has been sold around the world including USA, most of Europe, South America and Australia, spans five decades and paints a portrait of Bonnard and his wife Marthe de Méligny who became the cornerstone of her husband’s life and work, appearing in more than a third of his paintings. Stacy Martin, Anouk Grinberg also star alongside André Marcon who plays Bonnard mentor Claude Monet.

Unlike previous years, this December the festive special episode of ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL will air December 23rd on Channel 5! Now that World War Two has broken out, a Jewish evacuee, Eva (Ella Bernstein), is staying at Skeldale House and everyone wants to make her first experience of the festive season magical. James (Nicholas Ralph) and Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) remain torn over whether they should be heading off to war, however, which leaves their loved ones anxious. But when Siegfried (Samuel West) is called out to local landowner Major Sebright Saunders (Michael Maloney) again to ensure that his injured horse River is fit before a big race, the head vet faces a terrible dilemma, leading to a clash with brother Tristan. Meanwhile, as housekeeper Mrs Hall (Anna Madeley) lays on an impromptu Christmas party and faces some big decisions after her friend Gerald (Will Thorp) shares some shocking news, James helps wealthy client Mrs Pumphrey (Patricia Hodge), who is worried about an exhausted stray cat and its gorgeous kitten.  As you know the fourth season of the popular series should arrive Autumn next year.
