John Cho will play Spike Spiegel, an impossibly cool “cowboy” (bounty
hunter) with a deadly smile, a wry wit, and style to spare who travels
the solar system with his ex-cop partner, Jet (Mustafa Shakir), pursuing
the future’s most dangerous bounties with a combination of charm and
charisma! Pineda will play Faye Valentine, a bold, brash and
unpredictable bounty hunter, a thorn in Spike
and Jet’s side. Hassell
(whom we watched in BBC's Miniaturist) is Vicious, a man who thoroughly
enjoys a good kill, the most notorious hitman. He’s also Spike Spiegel’s
ex-partner and arch-enemy. Thor's Chris Yost is writing and executive
producing!

Does not sound like my cuppa tea, but John Cho is so adorable, I might have to tune in anyway.

DeleteWe never did watch Firefly. Didn't it only last one season or so? I think that's one that had a big cult following who were pretty pissed when it got cancelled.
DeleteIt had about 17 episodes or something like that, it was uber cool, I loved it myself, great fun of a series, especially as it aired in the time when sf wasn't overly present on the telly. You'd probably love it as Nathan Fillion was a major cat's meow back then and Jason would pop his eyes out at Morena Baccarin.
