'BIRD BOX' TRAILER SEES
SANDRA BULLOCK BLINDFOLDED
BirdBox hits Netflix December 21st! |
In the wake of an unknown global terror, a mother must find the
strength to flee with her children down a treacherous river in search of
safety. Due to unseen deadly forces, the perilous journey must be made
blindly. This fantasy thriller with an apocalyptic setting is directed
by Academy Award winner Susanne Bier!
I would watch "Quicksand," but "Bird Box" doesn't really interest me.
ReplyDeleteit's too scary. I don't do horrors, but I do love post apocalyptic projects for some reason.
DeleteParent predeceased by child - that's the worst life tragedy that could happen to someone.
ReplyDeleteI'm too 'faint of heart' to watch "Quiksand", especially that the movie doesn't end with the son's death and the price of a new murder has to be paid.
especially as the murderer is obviously a young person himself.
DeleteBird Box was the book I just mentioned reading here the other day. I don't think the trailer looks like they stuck with the book too closely. I would not have chosen Sandra Bullock for the lead role. Love her, but she's too old for the character in the book. They changed a few key elements as well, so I hope they describe this as a very loose adaptation. I hope the movie describes what the creatures from the story are, because we never learned exactly what they were by the end of the book.
ReplyDeleteit is definitely an interesting concept and super freaky too!
DeleteSandra Bulock? CAn't be bad!
ReplyDeleteshe's always fun, too bad she bottoxed her face so much she can't make any facial expression
DeleteThe perilous journey... must be made blindly? Say it ain't so.
ReplyDeleteit is, sadly
DeleteBut why?
Deletebecause they might come upon Madonna... and her ugliness could blind them fully.
