CHRONICLES OF NARNIA to that list as well! Netflix is planning to turn C.S. It has been announced that there might be both films and series made out of these novels at Netflix as there will be multiple productions. As you know, last decade Disney has already done three films set in Narnia. The books have been sold in more than 100 million copies around the world. 'DICKINSON' COMEDY SERIES
1ST HAILEE STEINFELD PHOTOS
Speaking of period set projects, check out the first photos from Apple's half hour 1800s set comedy series DICKINSON showing Hailee Steinfeld as the famous poet Emily Dickinson! The comedy series will audaciously explore the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of a budding writer who doesn’t fit in to her own time through her imaginative point of view. You can see this from one of the photos in which she is dressed as a boy and in one where she is smoking a cigar outside her elite school for girls. The cast also includes Toby Huss as her father Edward Dickinson, Jane Krakowski as her mother, Anna Baryshnikov as her younger sister Lavinia, Ella Hunt as her best friend Sue Gilbert, and Adrian Blake Enscoe as Emily's brother Austin.

  1. Huh. Disney couldn't make it in the normal world with Narnia, so they're engaging Netflix? Interesting.

I'm totally on board for Dickenson. Sounds awesome.

    1. We haven't seen anything like Dickenson before, a historical sitcom!

  2. I never did watch the Narnia movies. I may watch the series on Netflix though. We'll have to see how it's done before deciding though.

    Dickenson sounds great though!

    1. I remember that the movies were exquisitely boring even though they had Willy me some Moseley in it!

  3. You know what I've been noticing? So many movies and series have actors smoking. It's getting ridiculous. Almost like the tobacco companies are getting together with Hollywood and the movie industry to promote their products. The Dickinson picture reminded me of that.

    1. yes, but this is the first time ever the spy has published a photo with smoking. Otherwise it is a big no no for me. Here it serves the purpose of the plot, to show her disdainful towards the rules consigned for females.
