SEE TRAILER FOR NEW BBC TV SERIES UNFORGIVABLE WHICH STARTS THIS WEEK WITH ANNA FRIEL, ANNA MAXWELL MARTIN, DAVID THRELFALL

  UNFORGIVABLE TRAILER
FOR NEW BBC DRAMA TV SERIES
Arriving to BBC Two this Thursday July 24th is their new drama UNFORGIVABLE which, set and filmed in Liverpool, examines the extensive ripple effect of abuse from multiple perspectives and how those involved can try to move forwards in the midst of the devastation. The fictional drama centres around the Mitchell family who are dealing with the devastating aftermath of an act of abuse perpetrated by a member of their own family. Having served his prison sentence, Joe (Bobby Schofield)  arrives at St Maura's, an institution which offers him a home and rehabilitation after his release. With the support of Katherine (Anna Maxwell Martin), an ex-nun, Joe undertakes therapy sessions in the hope of understanding what led him to commit the abuse. Simultaneously, his sister,  Anna (Anna Friel), is dealing with the enormous impact that Joe's crime has had on her family - her sons, Tom (Austin Haynes) and Peter (Finn McParland), and her father, Brian (David Threlfall).

    1. BBC always makes them short like that and publishes them a week before airing.

  5. This looks interesting. I think many of us have have at least one family member that has done something either criminal or questionable. In my case, it’s most of my family tree. I’m pretty sure at this point my brother has spent more years in prison than he has lived in the free world.

    2. As far as I know, he's free. We could point fingers at mommy dearest, but I'd also say the deadbeat dads that fathered us are to blame as well. I get so sick of hearing what a great man my dad was when he didn't even show up until I was 11 years old, and even then didn't want to parent. Only wanted custody of my sister and I so he didn't have to pay his measly $60 a week in child support. Dumbass didn't realize we cost a heck of a lot more to care for than $60 a week LOL
