1ST IDRIS ELBA PHOTOS
FROM HIJACK TV SERIES
Last week we announced cast for Nigthsleeper series which will be set on a train and now we have another new series with seven episodes set in real time on a seven hour flight: arriving to Apple TV Plus June 28th is Idris Elba's new action thriller series HIJACK with a two episode global opening debut.
TOLD IN REAL TIME
it is a tense thriller that follows the journey
of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour
flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers. Idris Elba
will star as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business
world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the
lives of the passengers, but his high-risk strategy could be his
undoing. Archie Panjabi will play the role of Zahra Gahfoor, a counter
terrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and
becomes part of the investigation. In addition to Elba and Panjabi, the
series stars Christine Adams, Max Beesley, Eve Myles, Neil Maskell,
Jasper Britton, Harry Michell, Aimée Kelly, Mohamed Elsandel and Ben
Miles.
I like IDRIS ELBA! Watched a couple of his TV series, but he didn't play any leading role. Would love to watch this one too, but unfortunately it's on Apple TV.
ReplyDeleteIs not he the lead in Luther series?
DeleteElba's a cool guy. Or so he seems. Will check this one out.
ReplyDeleteHello, Dezzzmeister. How's it... hangin'?
He will be happy to hear it!
DeleteIt is still up not hanging, thanks for asking.
I also like Idris. I don’t have AppleTV so I’ll be missing this one, but it does sound like something I’d like.
ReplyDeleteSo many streamers these days... Maybe it is time to ditch Netflix and go for Paramount and Apple?
DeleteI've been using Amazon's streamer a lot lately. We still use HBO and Hulu, and even Disney occasionally, but it does seem like it's time to ditch Netflix as there isn't much on there of interest anymore. We will subscribe to Paramount when the new season of Yellowstone comes out. But these days there really isn't much time to watch anything with building of the business and all of the travel that involves, too.
DeleteI only watch an episode per day, never more and never during the day. I'm watching Eurosong this week, so I will cram episodes of my shows in between the semifinals and finals.
