The first series to be launched this year over at Netflix, and you can always count on them to do shows celebrating criminals, psychos, manipulators and thieves, is KALEIDOSCOPE which is available for streaming as of January 1st with all of its eight non-linear parts, which means that no matter in which order the episodes are watched, the entire story still makes sense. The story of KALEIDOSCOPE is loosely inspired by real-life events surrounding Hurricane Sandy when $7 billion in bonds went missing from downtown Manhattan. Giancarlo Esposito, Jai Courtney and Rufus Sewell lead the show together with Paz Vega. Spanning 24 years, KALEIDOSCOPE follows a master thief and his crew who attempt an epic and elaborate heist the largest one ever attempted, and the vengeance, scheming, loyalties, and betrayals that surround it.
Doesn't look bad. One of those shows we might try when we have nothing else to watch. The out of order thing throws me for a loop, but I guess I'd have to see it for myself to see how confusing it would really be.

We have been watching it last few days...tbh, it's nothing special.
ReplyDeleteI figured! Is it confusing with the episodes without order?

ReplyDeleteThey say it isn't, but it is certainly intriguing, the fans have even started publishing the best order to watch them LOL
