taken hostage after a school shooting and the whole area around the school is in lock down. How will she save her son? The movie will arrive to Video on Demand and selected theatres February 25th!
THE ADAM PROJECT WITH
RYAN REYNOLDS OLD & YOUNG
A bit later, on March 11th over at your favourite streamer Netflix, we will have Ryan Reynolds' new action movie THE ADAM PROJECT from director

Shawn Levy. It also stars Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner. Adam Reed, age 13, and still grieving the sudden death of his father a year earlier, walks into his garage one night to find a wounded pilot hiding there. This mysterious pilot turns out to be the older version of himself from the future, where time travel is in its infancy. He has risked everything to come back in time on a secret mission. Together they must embark on an adventure into the past to find their father, set things right, and save the world. The three working together, both young and grown Adam come to terms with the loss of their father and have a chance to heal the wounds that have shaped them. Adding to the challenge of the mission, the two Adams

discover they really don't like each other very much, and if they're going to save the world, they're first going to have to figure out how to get along.
These both sound like a prescription for anxiety.. lol. A son held hostage is like the end of the world and then the actual end of the world is just too much for me to handle right now.
Definite no on Watts. First, because no civilian is going to get access to a terrorist phone number to negotiate their child out of that situation. It’s just unrealistic. Two, because as a mother there is nothing more terrifying than getting a text from your child that they are on lockdown and it’s not a drill. I’ve had to call Jason at work twice to patch us into the school on a conference call to find out what was going on because I was in hysterics over her texts and couldn’t handle myself. This movie would hit all the wrong buttons with me for that alone.
Maybe I was not watching carefully the trailer, but I think it is her son who calls her and that is how she gets to talk with the terrorists.
It is so terrible what goes around in your schools, I blame it on your weapon laws and so much violence in politics and on TV, which creates so many violent and aggressive kids and people. We have never had a lockdown in our schools or anywhere ever, but our kids are also changed, they are impolite and rude and bratty these days. A few days ago one of my ex colleagues told me they caught some of them trying to light a fire in the middle of the classroom.
GIVE SOME LOVE TO YOUR DEZZY :) DON'T FORGET THAT BLOGGER'S NEW COMMENT BOX OFTEN REQUIRES FOR YOU TO DISABLE PROTECTION ON YOUR BROWSER IN ORDER TO COMMENT.

ReplyDeleteI actually think I will watch the second one, looks quite fun, but a NO to the first one, I cannot handle both hostage situation and Watts.
