Good news, period drama lovers! ITV and Britbox have hired our dear Beta Film and Eagle Eye Drama (owned by super lovely Walter Iuzzolino)
Daniele Pecci will be Count Carlo Albani
to produce 1920s Italian riviera set mini series HOTEL PORTOFINO which will also air on Sky Italia and Foxtel in Australia, and possibly on PBS in USA.  Created and written by Matt Baker, it already has Natascha McElhone cast in the lead role of the daughter of a wealthy industrialist who moves to Italy to set up a quintessentially British hotel in the beautiful town of Portofino. 1. He is a very nice gent privately too. He shot his first directorial debut here in my country and was very nice to everyone and very humble.

  2. I really like psychological thrillers.
I saw that Sweet Tooth was on Netflix and remembered the show from your blog so I started watching it. Now bad but I'm only one episode in right now.

  4. Anya Taylor Joy is really getting casted a lot recently, guess she's one of the "it girls" in the movie biz at the moment. 🙂

    1. She defo is. I liked her in Miniaturist, a series that made her famous basically, but I haven't watched her chess series. She is defo better than Jodi Komer.

  6. I'm sorry, but I am just completely distracted by this Lorenzo Richelmy! He resembles my husband when he was younger, skinnier, and had a very full head of hair. What a handsome man!

    3. You need to watch his MARCO POLO series . It had just two ten episode seasons, the second much better than the first one. He lacks in charisma, though.
