Earlier this summer I announced that William Dalrymple's THE ANARCHY book on the rise of the East India company will be turned into a TVseries and now another of his books KOHINOOR: The History Of World's Most Infamous Diamond, written together with Anita Anand, will get a series adaptation too by 185 Carat Films from Mumbai! The book describes the winding true story of the Indian diamond, the 27th largest in the world, which is currently part of the British Crown Jewels.     I can't recall if we saw this crown jewel when we toured the Crown Jewels in London. We saw so much in such a short time period and they didn't allow photos, so I might have.

      It is in Lizzy's crown, deary, so if you saw her crown, you saw the diamond too from the photos above :) Don't know how the imperialist witch does not get headaches wearing something so bloody on her head.

      Im pretty sure we did see her crown, so I must have seen it. We had to stand on a conveyor belt that whirled us through, so I didn’t take in too much of what I saw. I imagine any crown would give a headache.

      What the what? A conveyor belt, as in moving steps? OMG I've never heard of such a thing! How does that even fit the palace?

    Yeah, it was really weird. They weren't steps, but like what you put your groceries on at the checkout, just whirling us through. I mean, some of it we were able to walk through, but all of the crown jewels we had to conveyor through. They didn't want anyone crowding the glass, I suppose.

      The conveyor probably opens into a pit with thorns if someone tries to step of it and steal the crown jewels lol
