  2. So, what's new? Nothing, really. The same old world under attack. This time it's attacked by some horrible creatures who hunt by sound ("Silence").
Soon (they say in 12 years) the world's going to be attacked by oceans and seas. Perhaps the cinema industry could make some movies with some useful tips and tricks of how to survive this kind of attack.

I suppose I'm like The Tomorrow Man. Years ago I bought some equipment (suit, boots, gloves; mask was given by the authoritirs) to be prepared against a chemical attack launched by Saddam Hussein. Well, luckily the chemical part didn't happen and the items were not used. I still have them in the attic.
Well, preparedness requires that we buy things. Food items are quite a problem.
I would definitely like to watch this movie

    1. It used to be that the oceans will attack us in hundred years, now it's down to just a decade?
Your authorities are very nice and caring, when we were bombed day and night by USA and NATO for months in 1999. our government did not even tell us where to find bomb shelters :) We were totally left to fend for ourselves. They same goes for the 90s when USA imposed years of embargo on us and we did not have the simplest of things, flour, oil, sugar, oxygen for babies etc. Government did not even try to give us rations or whatever it is they're supposed to do to take care of their people.

    2. Unbelievable! I have come to the very sad conclusion that you can trust no one. I believe only in God's protection.

  3. "The Tomorrow Man" looks like an excellent, character-driven movie. Plus I love John Lithgow.

    1. He is always ever so nice... we will never forgive Blythe for giving birth to that pest, but she's an OK actress... more or less...

  4. I'm with Duta here. Netflix is supposed to be bringing new ideas to the table, but Silence seems like it's just another spin off the same old same old. Kind of reminds me of John and Emily's movie, A Quiet Place. Yawn.

    1. I think they scored a massive success with Bird Box and now want to exploit it. I like apocalyptic movies, I will probably watch it.
