FIRST PHOTOS FROM SF FILMS ARCHIVE WITH THEO JAMES & 2067 WITH RYAN KWANTEN, KODI SMIT MCPHEE & ITALIAN WW2 DRAMA FREAKS OUT!

FIRST PHOTOS FROM NEW FILMS
ITALIAN WW2 DRAMA FREAKS OUT
First photos from a few small films, today, starting with Italian WW2 drama FREAKS OUT which follows Matilde, Cencio, Fulvio and Mario who are like siblings when the tragedy of the WW2 hits Rome where they work in a circus.
Freaks Out has a very picturesque set of characters
Israel, the circus owner and their putative father, disappears in the attempt to find a getaway overseas for them all. Our four friends are in disarray. Without anybody looking after them and without a circus, the four protagonists have no place in society. They feel only as freaks, lost in a war-torn city.

  1. "Freaks Out" sounds like an analogy-based fable to me.

  2. Circus people are like family, so they shouldn't feel so at a loss without the owner.
The characters in the picture, however, look rather strange, and being war time with all its horrors, one can understand their complete confusion. Hope it does have a good ending though.

    1. It was obviously a circus of freaks as they called them back in those days, sadly. I have a feeling it will be a rich story.

    1. I have a feeling it could be very nice and flamboyant in a way, I almost think it should've been directed by our Emir Kusturica, he usually has such rich characters.
