RICHARD MADDEN JOINS
TARON EGERTON IN 'ROCKETMAN'
While we are waiting to see whether his latest series The Bodyguard will replace Poldark in the primetime slot on BBC next Sunday (I have a feeling it
will), our dearest Richard Madden will try to get a few gigs set for Elton John!
Richard Madden will play Elton John's manager |
As 'Variety' reports, he will play his manager John Reid in ROCKET MAN
musical movie about his life. You already know that the latest Robin
Hood Taron Egerton is actually playing Elton John in the film (and
singing too), while Jamie Bell is also on board to play song writer Bernie Taupin!
Reed, legendary music manager in the ’70s and ’80s who also helped with
Queen’s rise to fame was John manager for thirty years till 1998. At
some point they were also lovers, but their romance ended after five
years following the leak of a letter from John’s accountants detailing
Reid’s spending. The two would continue to work together professionally
until 1998.

Robbie Amell will lead new fantasy sitcom |
Good news for Elton John's fans; he's got many, some of them famous and influential (the british royal family, for instance).
ReplyDeleteI suppose, the singer will be updated and asked for advice and suggestions regarding the movie 'Rocketman', which shows his way to stardom, and is based on his songs.
He wrote the movie himself if I remember correctly, it is his own project about himself :)
DeleteInteresting. So, that's some kind of autobiography.

DeleteThat makes it even more interesting we're getting a first hand account from Rocket Man himself then. I always wonder how much is true when we watch movies written by someone other than the person the movie is about. It's like reading a magazine and they have intimate conversation details of what was actually said. Like, really? Ya'll was in the bedroom when all this went down, or you were in the car when the fight took place? I remember Jada Smith recently getting ticked about her character's portrayal in the Tupac movie, saying her and Tupac never had a fight and if someone who was making the film would have just ASKED HER what happened, she could have given them accurate info.
ReplyDeleteNow, I am even more excited to see Rocket Man!
But then again Jada is not someone to be believed no matter what she says :) That's one massively angry, manipulative woman who gave this world such horrid brats.
DeleteI usually think, when it comes to magazines, that celebs themselves give them most of those stories, thus the details... the same goes for paparazzis, at least in my country.
I wouldn't doubt it. I've heard of celebs calling the paparazzis to tell them where they would be just so they could get coverage. It's such an odd behavior to want to have your every move scrutinized by the masses.
Deleteit is because it brings them more monies... more attention more money that is how it works. Look at that idiotic bastard from YouTube who laughed at people who committed suicide. I bet he has two times more visits now than before the scandal. People are just stupid sheep....
DeleteI hope he lost most of his followers. I don't follow these "YouTube Celebrities" but my girls do and they immediately stopped following his YouTube after that incident. But then again, there are plenty of idiots who like that kind of crap, so he probably did get more followers as a result. Kind of like the dip shits who get famous because they do hurtful and mean "pranks" on their boyfriends/girlfriends. What kind of person do you have to be to find it funny when someone waxes off another's eyebrow or busts up their personal property? Aren't you supposed to love them, not hurt them? Sickening.
DeleteI hate them idiots too! What I also hate is when there are stories about girls who cut off their boyfriends' willies out of jealousy and then you have morons who put smileys on such stories!
