If, after watching last year's Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, you feel nostalgic for some more legendary music, do not despair, later this month Elton John's biopic ROCKETMAN will land into theatres near you, from May 24th directed by Rhapsody's Dexter Fletcher! It is not exactly a biopic, Elton calls it a sort of a movie of fantasy stories based around his greatest hits but it does also describe how he started writing some of world's biggest ever hits and how he developed his unique image enjoying love and fun along the way.

ROCKET MAN
tells the story of Elton John's life, from his years as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music, through his influential and enduring musical partnership with Bernie Taupin, as well as his struggles with depression, substance abuse, and acceptance of his sexual orientation. It is a musical fantasy about the fantastical human story of Elton John's breakthrough years.

As you know, British actor Taron Egerton has been chosen to portray Elton himself (Justin Timberlake was the original choice), with our favourite Scotsman Richard Madden portraying his manager and lover John Reid (who was played by Aidan Gillen in Bohemian Rhapsody), and Jamie Bell as famous lyricist Taupin. Bryce Dallas Howard plays Elton's mother Sheila, with whom he did not always have the best of relationships. Charlie Rowe, Tate Donovan, Steven Mackintosh, Gemma Jones also star. As 'Variety' reports, he will play his manager John Reid in ROCKET MAN musical movie about his life. You already know that the latest Robin Hood Taron Egerton is actually playing Elton John in the film (and singing too), while Jamie Bell is also on board to play song writer Bernie Taupin! Reed, legendary music manager in the ’70s and ’80s who also helped with Queen’s rise to fame was John manager for thirty years till 1998. At some point they were also lovers, but their romance ended after five years following the leak of a letter from John’s accountants detailing Reid’s spending. The two would continue to work together professionally until 1998.

Paramount has, meanwhile, confirmed that Taron Edgerton will use his unbelievable vocal talent and his smooth, seductive voice in ROCKETMAN an Elton John biopic! As 'Deadline' reports, Dexter Fletcher directed musical movie will follow the famous pop star through the course of his most iconic life.

The film covers the singer/ pianist’s growth from a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music to a global superstar, through his influential and enduring musical partnership with his songwriting collaborator Bernie Taupin. It is an unvarnished rock ‘n’ roll biopic with John’s life stripped back of the glitter. It is interesting that Fletcher has just finished helming another musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody on Queen in which Rami Malek plays Freddy Mercury. You will be watching Taron Edgerton first in new Robin Hood movie!

Later on she also pretty much created the Post Apocalyptic genre with her novel The Last Man. She was inspired by her mother Mary Wollstonecraft who was also a writer and by her husband famous poet Percy Shelley. She was one of few women to support herself as an author during the early 18th century, and her inner circle included countless literary and scientific luminaries of the day, including Lord Byron, Samuel Taylor Coleridge! She died of brain tumour after pretty much outliving all of her family, including three of her four children.
