MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS explores the turbulent life of the charismatic
Mary Stuart. Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18, Mary defies
pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to
reclaim her rightful throne. But Scotland and England fall under the
rule of the compelling Elizabeth I. Each young Queen beholds her
"sister" in fear and fascination. Rivals in power and in love, and
female regents in a masculine world, the two must decide how to

threatening Elizabeth's sovereignty. Betrayal, rebellion, and
conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones - and change the
course of history.
Your enthusiasm is catchy! No doubt,Mary, queen of Scotland was one of the most fascinating monarchs at that time. They say she was beautiful and kind, but with no political skills, and so she found herself in big trouble.
She was unlucky to rule a country with two different rival religions, but her son did rule England after all as Elizabeth's successor, so she won in a way in death.
I do love the male part of the cast, the female one not so much, they will have to convince me, I'm used to thespian acting in my period set dramas :) I'm very demanding.
Guess I need to watch a bit more film as I don't think I've ever seen Margot Robbie in anything. Though, I do know she has quite the following. I thought the trailer looked great.
